This looks like it could be great, surprised no one made a thread.

Looks great visually but are there any articles or any other videos out there going into the gameplay?

Outside of that quote, nothing else currently."We are focusing on deep narrative and environmental storytelling," he said. "You play as a detective and observer and use your skills to scan the environment and hack player's fears."
Looks promising, but it really makes me hope Cyberpunk 2077 isn't First-Person. I would love to have some 3rd person Cyberpunk games, we already have the Deus Ex series for FP gameplay.
Outside of that quote, nothing else currently.
Set in a 2084 dystopian future ruled by an oppressive corporations, Observer is notably an Eastern European take on cyberpunk: which is to say in the game you will find architecture, pop-culture, and historical and political references you would find in Eastern Europe.
In the game you play as Dan, a member of a special corporate-funded police unit called Observers. Having received cryptic messages from his estranged son, Dan finds himself deep in the seedy underbelly of the city, where horror, madness, and psychological experiences bordering on the psychedelic await.
As an Observer you are gifted augmentations that allow you to hack into the minds of both criminals and victims and see things in an altered perception, allowing you to gather information or interrogate your way to it in a way otherwise impossible. When you go into someones mind you will see what they saw, and live what they lived. But as Bloober Team noted to us, the mind is a chaotic place, and each mind is incredibly different. The whole process will take a toll on you, but it allow you to find clues otherwise hidden and plunge you deeper into an intricate mystery.
One of the key features in the game is the freedom of choice and the freedom to approach the world how you want, which in turns effects the narrative. According to Bloober Team it is in these choices that lead to multiple endings (how many remains unspecified).
As for the games size, Bloober confirmed to use that Observer is bigger than its previous game Layers of Fear in almost every aspect, including the size of the world, the narrative, and the game mechanics. In regards to length, Bloober told us the game will be twice as long as Layers of Fear, so seven to eight hours for a single playthrough, or longer if youre trying to find every hidden secret, room, and collectible.
