WHC isn't for wrestlers that people actually like. It's there to give the wrestlers something interesting to latch onto. It's less a title and more of a prop, like Mr. Socko, Head or the IC title. Or the US title for that matter.
It would instantly make him 100x more over. Did you know that ADR's son is a huge Kane mark?

If Battleground is an alternative way of saying War Zone which was once part of the name basis for Raw is War then I can conclude that through this string of logic Battleground's gimmick is actually being an episode of Raw in PPV form.
