$@#$#%$ that wreck of a Mets game forced me to miss Miss Venezuela 2007 on Telemundo! noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Would've been here sooner but my madden franchise held me up. Awesome umping by the way. Called right down the middle in my eyes.

;)

Man, Fox doesn't even pretend anymore like they don't have a huge hard-on for the Red Sox. Listening to these two guys call this game is painful. Many team broadcasters show less of a bias then this.

McCarver was a long time Mets broadcaster. i wholeheartedly support this news.

This shit always kills me. All Yankee fans think the Fox team hates them and loves the Sawx, and all Red Sox fans think the Fox team hates the Sawx and loves the Yanks.

Also, Beckett > Wang.

Tonight clinched it for Beckett, i thought it was all up in the air before the beginning of the game though. As much as i dislike the Yankees Wang has had a hell of a year.

:lol

I love how this is a two horse race for Boston and New York fans.

Beckett is not the most deserving pitcher either!

Now I get why people hate us!

but not gaimeguy, he's still annoying

"There's the guy build like a soda machine, Joba Chamberlain." :lol :lol :lol

Also, "If you don't know the Joba Rules..." EVERYONE KNOWS THEM NOW BECAUSE THEY'RE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT WHEN HE'S SEEN ON CAMERA.

Edit: Oh, look at that, home run from Hinske and Chamberlain almost makes the catch from the dugout. :lol

from today's game said:
E. Ramirez 0.2 0 1 1 1 2 0 5.71
R. Villone 0.0 0 1 1 1 0 0 4.66
B. Bruney 0.1 1 2 2 1 1 0 4.07
S. Henn 0.0 1 0 0 1 0 0 7.49
R. Ohlendorf 0.2 0 0 0 1 2 0 0.00

That's about the only thing that makes me want to see the Yankees in the playoffs. What a pile of suck for a bullpen. Even the Tigers laugh at that bullpen.

Beckett REC 18-6 | SV 0 | ERA 3.20

Wang REC 18-6 | SV 0 | ERA 3.82

Not including tonights game, yet those are two pretty good looking stats there. Although Beckett's era is more then a half point lower.

(stats from ESPN.com)

I dunno why it's Beckett vs. Wang, especially around here. We're supposed to be the educated discussion forum!

Excellent win today. Tomorrow should be interesting -- Schilling has looked good in his past couple starts, but with almost no run support. Hopefully they can break that streak and give the guy at least one more win before the season is over.
