:lol @ the MUTTS

6 in a row you pussies.

It's going to be funny when the Pilthies are going to fuck up at the end of the season, and miss the playoffs for the 14th year in a row. While the Mets are playing October baseball. Fucking losers.

I dunno why it's Beckett vs. Wang, especially around here. We're supposed to be the educated discussion forum!

Thank you.

I think CC is in the lead right now .. but Beckett and Lackey have a chance to catch him with a few more superior starts (and bad ones for CC).

Wang isn't even in the top 5 this year.

:)

In his post game PC today, Randolph was asked why he tried to get a second inning out of Feliciano and his response was "well I didn't have Wagner today...he told me he was unavailable."

:lol

C'mon Detroit...you can pull this off.
Code:
NY Yankees	84	64	.568	-	47-27	37-37	867	707	Lost 1	8-2
Detroit 82	67	.550	2.5	41-34	41-33	820	746	Won 4	8-2
Seattle 78	68	.534	5	44-29	34-39	722	741	Won 3	4-6

Detroit could've been 1.5 back, and even Seattle is trying to make a late run. Tomorrow's game will go a long way in determining if Detroit can do it. Seattle . . . they need to win 7 more in a row.

Ya, I think that Red Sox implosion Friday night is going to factor into the end of the season. What a wasted opportunity.

Detroit has to play Cleveland in Cleveland starting Monday. We have a really good record at home. Not sure how they will fair.

I checked the head-to-head, Yanks and Tigers are 4-4. If they can force a tie it's one-game playoff time. OMG this board will wig out that day. :lol

Damn, that Yankees win last night really hurts.

Schilling will own Clemens (bitch) tomorrow.

...And the Tigers have to win basically every game from here on out (can't lose any more than 3 games).

Yeah...I'm gonna be in near-heart attack mode during that. There's no way in hell we pass Cleveland, but hopefully the Yankees lose a few more. Yesterday's come-from-behind over Boston drove me to drink.

Damn Russ Adams is on a tear. Well as much of a tear that Russ Adams can be on.

LOL at Russ Adams being intentionally walked.

This is the biggest pile of dogshit of all time the Philities get all the Bullshit calls from the umps, and some how Mets forget to play defense. There the luckiest team of all time Philities don't deserve to be 12-6 vs the Mets. There a bad team with luck whenever they play the Mets.

Meltdown total.

The only word to describe this series is OUCH. I hope that the NLCS does not come down to the Mets and Phillies because I do not like our odds.

Mets were 11-1 vs the Dodgers in 1988 we all what went down during the playoffs. Regular season doesn't matter, ask the Cardinals that.

Woooooooooo!

Doyers just giving away opportunities today. Kent gets picked off 1st and Next inning LaRoche leads off with a hit. 2 on 0 Outs with Liebercrap coming up and he decides not to bunt them over and a double play happens. WOOOOO!

=c

Shelley is awesome! :lol

Griffin Whitman, a 10-year-old Red Sox [team stats] fan from Swampscott, was excited to attend his first Yankees vs. Red Sox game Friday night. The young autograph -collector was even more thrilled to score Yankees outfielder Shelley Duncan’s signature before the game. That is, until Griffin read the message from the 27-year-old rookie: “Red Sox suck! Shelley Duncan.”

“It was cool to get his autograph,” Griffin said. “It didn’t make me feel happy when he wrote that.”

Griffin’s mother, Karen, blasted the Yankees slugger’s bad manners.

“This is someone who wears the Yankee uniform and is on the payroll and should be setting an example for 10-year-olds,” she said.

Duncan, son of St. Louis Cardinals pitching coach Dave Duncan, has become a fan favorite in the Bronx for hitting mammoth home runs since he was called up from the minors in July.

Yesterday afternoon, a Yankee spokesman declined to comment until he got a chance to speak to Duncan.

Dude.. what is going on with Loaiza? Looked so good his first few starts off the DL but his control has just been godawful lately.

He went 4 inning giving 3 which is tons better than his last disaster of a start.

:lol @ Delwyn Young using Lean Like A Cholo for his intro.
