He can't hit for avg or power, doesn't get on base, strikes out alot, and makes a ton of errors. I know you have to let young guys make their mistakes, but this guy is embarrassing. It's like when Steve Sax forgot how to throw to first, only it's in every facet of his game

lol chipper jones started a pool on who would get the first hit out of the #9 spot in the batting order. (the braves are like 0 for 50 or something). i wonder if a pitcher will get a hit before a Pinch Hitter.

Nah, I don't remember that at all actually. I'm well old enough to, but I don't remember.

Edit: Well I'll be damned, "Steve Sax Syndrome". Never heard of it. Although, 1983 is a bit before my time. Not much, but still a bit early.

I don't remember it, but it happened to me when I was thirteen and my dad told me about SSS. It lasted a week, I was a catcher and couldn't throw back to the pitcher. Fucking frightening.

I got a dead arm once. Couldn't get anything on a football at all.

They called me Ty Detmer.
 
So ESPN's fantasy info is totally fucked for all things Travis Snider and Ivan Nova.

Last week they talked about Snider going up against Nova like it was happening tomorrow.

And now, this: Snider drove in the winning run with a 19th inning double off Ivan Nova. He had been hitless in his five previous plate appearances on the night.
Spin: Snider batted second in the Jays batting lineup to bring a left- handed presence to the top of the order, giving the offense a bit of a different look.
