I don't buy much into sophomore slumps, but Heyward really needs to start hitting. Been really inconsistent all season.

And all this talk last year about Prado being able to win a battle tittle one year is garbage. He's solid, but nothing spectacular.
 
Holy shit, a dude called Al Alburquerque is pitching for the Tigers. Albert Alburquerque. I'm not sure how I feel about his parents.

Players like it the way it is. It's dog-eat-dog. People know they need to win 11 games to win the World Series. Nobody wants to have to worry, "Oh shit, now I've got another goddamn team in the fucking mix. Now we have to worry about what that takes and what they're going to do." What if the [second] wild-card team is not deserving of getting in?

Wondering, wouldn't the extra series have to be collectively-bargained? If the players don't want it...
 
Cubs making history with their win today!

With the win, the Cubs set a Major League record for consecutive stops at .500 to open the season. The Cubs have gone 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, 9-9, and are now 10-10. The 1951 Red Sox and 1970 Yankees got to 9-9.

Its APRIL Baseball. Angels dont care about baseball right now. Even though they have a decent record.

Not really, mainly the local teams. Nobody cares out there much. They are the masters of the third inning arrival / seventh inning departure.
