People say things like this all the time when pitchers with good peripherals do badly, but I don't buy it. Get back to me at the end of the season.ConradCervantes said:Defense isn't horrible when he pitches. Most of time he'll cruise then hit a wall in the middle innings. His control is too good, lots of victimized pitches are in the sweet spot of the strike zone.

That's only "qualified" catchers, of which there are very few. Ramos has 55 starts and isn't in that list.weekend_warrior said:
H-Rod has absolutely no idea where the strike zone is. When he "brings the heat" he has just as good a chance of a wild pitch as a strikeout. I fucking hate him and his 4.22 SIERA ass and am happy that Johnson only seems to be using him during garbage time.jakncoke said:lol walking a run in.
edit: bob walk makes a good point. why the fuck not just bring da heat there instead of trying to get tricky.

They're dangerous. We'll have H-Rod plunk you momentarily, that should keep him off the mound for a good while at least.jakncoke said:lolz
edit: fans cant keep broken bats?
Because there is no team in major league baseball with seven top tier relievers? That would be my guess.Jubs said:Man, why is Scott Proctor still on this team?
we have better options in the minors.Sharp said:Because there is no team in major league baseball with seven top tier relievers? That would be my guess.
Everyone always has better options in the minors. But somehow, they aren't always better options in the majors. Anyway, if I were a Braves fan I would trust my FO on prospect development.Windu said:we have better options in the minors.

Don't really see how this is going to help them, unless Snider is suddenly a decent pitcher.Fenix said:Holy Shit, Rivera DFA'd, Snider back tomorrow.

Plus hbp, walk. Every other pitch down the middle. FIP over 5. Worst pitcher on the team pitching the 7th, 8th In a one run game. I could go on.Sharp said:Let's see... strikeout, strikeout, ground ball (1B), fly ball (HR), fly ball (out), walk.
You guys are fucking complaining about this? You really are spoiled for pitching.
