ok, now venters/kimbrel are warming up. So I guess they are availiable today, nice of fredi to wait until we lost the lead to use them.

I only use Venters when we have a four-run lead. Deal with it.

Christ guys. Every team has a reliever like that buried deep in their bullpen. Very occasionally, they're going to have to pitch. Even the Padres have Pat Neshek. I'm not saying he's a good pitcher, just that it's hilarious that you guys are complaining so much about having one guy in seven who sucks.
Our beef isn't really with Proctor, it's with the team for using him when it legitimately has much better options.

Edit: Nice try Nate.

Well, the ump wanted to go home. I think Greg only threw 2 strikes in the strike zone that inning.

edit: nvm, 3.

youre bein trolled. sharps vagina's hurting from the beatdown his team received at the hands of the pirates :jakncoke
Shut the fuck up, this beatdown didn't count because Marquis isn't a real pitcher and without him the game is tied

TIED I SAY

here's a funny joke i heard: what do you get when you cross a shitty horrible team with a shitty horrible field

answer:
just trying to trick you with a long spoiler box, the answer is Mest

Michael Kay is easily the best and most interesting baseball announcer, I don't give a shit what anyone says.

Yeah, he's never played baseball, but the dude is hilarious at times and makes for interesting conversation with whoever he's paired up with. And sure, he's biased a lot of the time, but so am I, so whatever.

I don't disagree with you actually. I think he is great, other than generally not knowing anything about the deeper aspects of the game and not being able to read a ball off the bat. The YES broadcasts without him are incredibly boring. I love O'Neil, Cone, Leiter and Singleton but they need Kay to direct the conversation.

In short, I like Michael Kay but he needs competent people in the booth with him. And they need him as well

Leave it to Prince to not even get the bat on the ball in the highest of high-pressure situations. And of course McGehee still blows. I would've put in Braun instead, gimpy leg or not.

Michael Kay is only relevant in the baseball announcing game because he's calling Yankees games.

The biggest tragedy is that for as famous and historically important a team as the Yankees is, we've rarely had a voice that is reknowned for calling its games.

Michael Kay sucks.
Charley Steiner was decent, but he's gone.
Phil Rizzuto was a classic, but he's passed away. :(
Suzyn Waldman? lol
John Sterling? He's awful at announcing, but gold for player HR calls.

My kingdom for someone excellent!

rofl @ that shot of the cheering Yankees fans and then showing the single sad Mets fan with his head down.

Edit: Uh oh, runners at the corners.

Ahahahahaha, oh wtf?! how did duda not score? bah

edit: oh he was on second not third. way to go mr. third base coach.
