Thats the way I see it too.Mama Smurf said:Well, if he's fully owned by West Ham, then they're under no obligation to sell him full stop.
I don't believe the tearing up the contract thing though. As if Kia is going to say "oh, that was illegal was it, here I'll relinquish any claims to Tevez and lose out on millions of pounds", when he could say "oh, that was illegal was it, well you'd better give him back then so I can sell him elsewhere".
The only way the tearing up the contract thing actually happened is if both parties agreed to it. One side can't just do that themselves, or no one would be paying their mortgage. And the only way Kia agreed to that is if West Ham agreed that, while they would get paid the money for any sale of Tevez, they'd then pass it on to him afterwards as just, you know, a thank you.
Now if the Premier League didn't get proof[/i] that the contract was torn up, they shouldn't have allowed Tevez to play on. If they didn't, they're worst legal panel I've ever heard of.
If they did, it's still not over. If Kia has it in writing that West Ham will give him a rather substantial "thank you gift" after any transfer of Tevez, then he has a case. If it was just a verbal agreement and he can't prove anything, I don't think he'd have a leg to stand on.
I can only see this going two ways. Either it will be revealed that West Ham don't own Tevez, in which case they (and I like to the the Premier League for their incompetence) are ****ed and Tevez is free to be sold to United by MSI, or they do own him and they can either sell him for a lot or keep him until his contract runs out.
I just can't see how there could be a compromise.
But if the thrid party contract is ripped up or terminated, then we shouldnt have to pay kia because he doesnt own him. If thats the case then it should be a pretty simple case and there shouldnt be any need for fifa to intervene.Ghost said:You dont want to agree a deal with us because you'll have to shell out cash upfront, Kia's offer gives you Tevez for 2 years for £1.4 million upfront (which goes straight into MSIs bank account). £30 million or a Fifa arbitration...not a hard sum to do.
are you playing any friendlies before that or is that your first game?Mama Smurf said:Blackburn's competitive season starts in a few days, 5pm Sunday away to Vetra in the Intertoto Cup. Bit annoyed that Five haven't picked the game up, but I'm sure it'll show up as a stream somewhere.
well done walcott. I'm expecting to see quite an improvement from him next season. He's got the skill and the pace, but he needs to work on his body strength and his composure.hadareud said:it was beautifully set up by Walcott, who took on the defence for the first time and outpaced them. Van Persie just tapped it in basically.
yeah that was stupid.hadareud said:edit: Song just elbowed a turkish player in the face. Idiotic challenge, take him off. Dick.
:lolMama Smurf said:That's the sort of strike which makes Adebayor my top tip for golden boot next season!
the only thing that still worries me is his technique at times. Maybe it's just that his feet are bit too quick for his head though. He'll learn quickly.psycho_snake said:walcott proves me wrong too. He was very well composed then.
I'm loving the way arsenal are playing. I really think that they;re going to surprise everyone next season.
Agreed. He's still so young so you cant expect him to do the right thing all the time. Its just a matter of getting more experience.hadareud said:the only thing that still worries me is his technique at times. Maybe it's just that his feet are bit too quick for his head though. He'll learn quickly.
it's typical for him :lolCornballer said:1 minute in, and Senderos gets plonked and has a bloody lip. :lol

Give it a couple of months and he'll give up on crossing altogether.
