Spurs + defence = ???

They did really well first half, but now I see that was a combination of Ljungberg's poor form (I really don't see how he's meriting starts atm) and Fabregas not being on the pitch, rather than any competence back there.

yeah tottenham's poise in the back has been embrassing on both goals.

and tottenham's offense has been quite bad this half.

not a single shot attempted.... wow

Poor Baptista, the ball was so wet it just skimmed off his head.

Arsenal deserve the win, great second half. I thought Spurs rightly had the lead at half time, but Arsenal's second half has been better than Spurs' first.

Dude, you bet on Arsenal to beat Spurs away? That's only a 37.8% chance! Don't try and beat the stats.
I think hadareud just did

EDIT: Ok so he was close to beating the stats. Being a smartarse backfired on me

:lol @ arsenal though. Complete domination in the second half and spurs get something out of this game

I really would have preferred an Arsenal win, as Spurs are one of the teams we're chasing.

I don't think anywhere's showing Fulham v Blackburn, so I'll probably watch Charlton v Sheff Utd as it's such an important game. Liverpool v Wigan is tempting...but yeah, I'll go for the relegation fight.

How come? Unless I have a particular grudge against a team, I always want the sides with the better players to go down so those of us left in the Premiership can start sniffing around for bargains.

Poor hadareud. He has to cope seeing his team lose a deserved win in the last kick of the game AND he lost money :lol

I want Charlton to go down... My father used to live in Sheffield for part his youth... He said it was ****-hole of Pakistanis(He was a Pakistani there) there...

Yup. Charlton getting relegated = Bent at a cheaper price. I dont give a **** about the rest of the players.

Neil Warnock, the guy is mental and I can't stand him.

Fair enough. I wanted Sunderland to go down last year (not that there was ever any doubt), not because I wanted any of their players, but because I felt their presence in the Premiership was just an embarrassment to the league as a whole. No one's done that this year, thank god.

Part of me hopes Charlton wins this just to make the race for survival as tight as possible, but the other part wants to make sure they're down...I guess a draw might be best.

:(

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we lost. I know Fulham's form is bad, but for some reason Blackburn are the team you want to play if that's the case. plus they're muhc better at home than away.

If we do lose though, it's probably our season over.

Half-Time

Stuttgart 2:0 Bayern

UEFA Cup, here we come! It's a shame. It's a disaster. Bayern was never able to replace Ballack. Even I have to admit it. **** >_<

yeah, just took a look at the game. :(

I just saw the charlton goal now. Charlton were very very lucky. I guess a bit of luck is what they need to stay up though.

Everton and Bolton both lose, so Arsenal have to be pretty close to locking up 4th place.

Tough result for the Gunners this morning. I probably would have taken a draw before the match if it was offered, but being up and losing like that at the death sucks. F**k Sp*rs.

Oh **** you Bolton, what the hell was that? Beating Reading until the 82nd minute, drawing to the 89th minute and somehow losing 3-1!

Everything was going pretty well up to that point :(

Good news for United fans! Richardson's starting!....wait, I mean Ferdinand is back.

Richardson is starting though. Giggs on the bench, no doubt with an eye on Milan this Tuesday, the poor old timer.

EDIT: Well done Middlesbrough.

****ing hell, this isnt going well at all. As soon as we scored we started playing shit and I knew that it was going to be a matter of time before they score. Letting a goal at the end of the first half and having rio injred isnt a good way to end this half.

I ****ing hate 'brough, they always play well against us.

Middlesbrough why... Why can't you just let United win and let them have the Premiership without the soup opera that Chelsea brings.

I'm assuming that's the end of Ferdinand's game. Given the lack of chances up front and the lakc of defensive options on the bench, I'd guess Heinze will go to centre back, Richardson to left back and Giggs into midfield for the second half.

I think thats whats going to happen. Its going to be very uncomfortable. Having o'shea, heinze, brown and richardson in defence is going to make things very difficult becauyse boro do have a decent attacking force.

There are other possibilities. O'Shea could go to centre back with Fletcher at right back or the same but O'Shea to left back and Heinze moving over to centre back. I just think Ferguson will want to see Giggs on.

I think Evra's going to be ok for the Milan game so that's a bit better, but I'm not sure Neville is. He will be for the second leg, but not the first afaik.

Not doing things the easy way are you?

What was wrong with Solskjaer's goal? I don't understand what he did wrong.

You can't do anything around goalkeepers anymore.

EDIT: Apparently the goalkeeper muist be allowed to strike the ball, according to the fourth official. That's a rule I was unaware of, and the commentators were unaware of, and apparently players are unaware of.

...I don't think it was a yellow card though.
