Ok, I'm getting kind of annoyed........ When do automatic subs come into play? Mascherano didn't get on the pitch today so I was expecting my sub to come on and give me some points...... That is yet to happen..... My first choice sub got 6 points so surely I should be on 17 points and not 11?

Oh and I'm really quite upset with Taylor being left out today..... v.v;

Oh I'm nothing special, but I'm not bad. Haven't played in ages to be honest, I'm too lazy to join a team and train, I refuse to get up on cold, wet Sunday morning for matches, and it becomes harder and harder to get a bunch of mates together just for a kick around, what with jobs and relationships....but hell, as long as I can still watch it, it's not so bad.

haha yeah I'm getting to that point too. I'm 21. I played my whole life, from when I was 5 and on my highschool varsity team. Not good enough to play in college, but I played in intramurals there. This summer I played in a U23 league. Very competitive. Thought it would be easy to get back into "soccer shape". Needless to say, shin splints are a bitch.

How many games are you able to get to Blaburn? The atmosphere at that place just looks insane.

what do you mean with games? Pics?

So, in a few hours i'm going to watch Chelseas first match as well. I'm pretty excited.

Oh WTF, it's worse than I thought. This is next Sunday:

Man City - Man Utd 13:30 - 15:20

Blackburn - Arsenal 15:00 - 16:50

Liverpool - Chelsea 16:00 - 17:50

Obviously I want to watch the Blackburn match most. And to do so I have to miss the last quarter of the Manchester derby, and the entire first half of the Liverpool match.
Thats bad timing. I can afford to miss the first fifteen minutes of the blackburn- arseanl game. I think they're showing the games in dubai, so once the united game finishes, I'll switch to the arsenal game, unless I'm in a really bad mood because United lose.

:lol @ Reading getting Man U and Chelsea to start the year...didn't they play three of the big four over a four week period last season? Someone must hate them. :lol
Sunderland have got a pretty tough fixture list too. They played tottenham yesterday and on the 25th september they play liverpool at home, then on the 1st october they play man utd away.

I'm not looking forward to playing sunderland at all. We're going to mess up against them.

Highlights & Goals from yesterdays Bayern match:

Klose showed us his salto as well =)

They're ordinary goals, but congrats to bayern for getting off to a good start.

I'm really impressed with bayerns summer shopping. They've done some of the best business this summer. Klose and toni are two great goalscorers. I thought that they wouldnt be able to work together because they are similar players, but after watching those highlights it doesnt seem to be the case.

I was looking at my fantasy football team and realised Ive made a big mistake. I forgot to select my captain, so howard was my captain for this week!! Cornballer did the same thing I did, unless he intentially left howard as captain for some reason. He only got 3 points this week. What a waste. I'm 5th at the moment, but I'm bound to drop down in the league after today. Quite a few people have selected ronaldo as their captain, so if he doesnt get a lot of points today, then maybe I can stay in the top half of the league.

It was Elano, and he did great, but being in the right place at the right time is harder than people think, or they'd all be doing it. I'm probably biased, being that sort of a striker. I'm fast enough but nothing special, I don't have any particular trickery on the ball, I can spend 90% of a game doing nothing...but dammit I can put the ball in the back of the net!
I appreciate your support Mama. When Rolando solidifies himself as a Premiership legend I will remember you being on the ground floor.

off to the game now. We need a good start to the season and I really hope we can do it today. I am fucking excited.
Have fun. Its been ages since Ive been to a game. When I lived in manchester, my dad had a friend who could get us tickets quite often, so I watched several United games. I even had the chance to watch Liverpool vs United at anfield when I was 7 or 8, but my dad didnt take the tickets he was offered because he thought that the scouscers would cause a riot. Now that I live in dubai, I never get to go to any games live. I might have been able to If I went back to manchester on holiday, but my family never goes back there for holidays. Its really annoying. Nothing beats watching a football game in a packed stadium.

it's 6:30 AM here in New York and after a night of drinking I am up. Arsenal better impress today lol.

Honeslty, I haven't seen anything like that since my middle school days. I think we'll come back from it but it's not the start we needed.

The ref is a f***ing moron, that was a blatant penalty. He didn't even touch the ball.

You can't move Hleb back to the wing once other stikers are fit, you just can't. Again, he's easily the best Arsenal player on show, thanks to his position. Even if he wants to play 2 strikers, put Hleb behind them and Gilberto, Fabregas and Rosicky in a 3 man central midfield, there'll still be plenty of attack down the wings with Clichy and Sagna.

I really am very happy with Hleb this far. He's played well in pre-season and today he's starting some problems for Fulham as well. I never jumped on the 'dump Hleb' bandwagon that many gooners got on last season, so hopefully he'll make them eat their words.

Fulham look good, I thought they signed well this summer. And they have Diop and Kamara on the bench with Bullard to return, could have a decent season.

You have to say, half an hour in, Fulham have had the better chances.

I think they're just shooting more. Not necessarily the most opportune times.

The ref mdae the right decision when the fulham player fell in the box. It wasnt a penalty. I dont think cesc even made any contact with him.

Besides mad Jens, we are in complete control of this match. I'd be very happy if it was 0-0 right now.

I don't think you're in complete control, Fulham are having good attacks, but you're certainly in control.

Do Arsenal have some sort of bet on how many corners they can uselessly swing into the box?

I had a dentist appointment so I've missed most of the first half.

They just showed the goal now. :lol :lol :lol @ lehmann, that was as bad as the robinson mis-kick.

Blablurn said:
damn, i really hate lehmann.

What did he do?

Passed it to an opposition player standing 6 yards out when under no pressure.

Warner's gonna get man of the match at this rate. I thought he did well when Niemi was injured for a while before, a bit unlucky to be behind him.
