One of his best Liverpool performances was on left wing though. :lol
I like him, I think he was good and I was sad to see him go. I think if he learnt how not to be CONSTANTLY FUCKING OFFSIDE. He could have had a good relationship with Torres, two fast scary players upfront would have been nice.

If the American owners were so against Benitez and wanted him out like the papers say, would they really give him 7m to buy a defender?
Classic! :lolSupahBlah said:I'm sure it was in the pen pal thread.

Mama Smurf said:That's...not true. I've only gone back through the last 9 games he could have played for Liverpool and fully 5 times he was deployed on the right, with Morientes, Crouch or Fowler in the the 2 spots up front.

"I have talked about it with Edgar Davids, because he played there," Emanuelson told Sportweek magazine.
"Edgar told me it was a great club, but that I should not join Spurs. He said to me: 'You are an Ajax player, you are young and talented, so you only need to go to a top club in England, Spain or Italy'.
"I have thought about what he said and I think he is right."
:lol :lol He is right, too. I don't know why half-good English team can think that they even have a chance buying players like Silva, Villa, Joaquin and I don't know what.hadareud said::lol :lol :lol

They're so good because they're such a tight knit group with no real superstars. They're the exact opposite of us.Cornballer said:It's cool, man - just giving you a hard time. Thread's been busy.
New England are hemorrhaging players. Props to Nicols for keeping them in contention for all of these years. If Twellmann and Parkhurst leave I think they're sunk, though.
True, but I don't know how they're going to replace Twellmann, Parkhurst, and Dorman. Joseph is still the man, but Noonan and Ralston are getting old.Osorio said:They're so good because they're such a tight knit group with no real superstars. They're the exact opposite of us.
Eh, it's not guaranteed that they're all leaving. If they do however, they're fucked.Cornballer said:True, but I don't know how they're going to replace Twellmann, Parkhurst, and Dorman. Joseph is still the man, but Noonan and Ralston are getting old.

Valencia's new signing appears in naked webcam video
Troubled Spanish side Valencia were hit by a new controversy Tuesday after it emerged that the club's new teenage Argentine midfielder Ever Banega has appeared naked in a webcam chat video.
The nearly six-minute-long footage was posted on Argentine video-sharing site Subiteya.com and the number of hits it has received has soared since the 19-year-old signed with Valencia from Argentina's Boca Juniors over the weekend, sports daily Marca reported Tuesday.
In the clip, which carries the title "Banega, grande desde siempre" or "Banega, always big", the player can be seen chatting over his computer with someone for several minutes before committing a sexual act.
"We already have too many problems to comment further," Valencia winger Joaquin Sanchez was quoted as saying by Marca Monday when asked about the video which dates from the teen's time at Boca Juniors.
"We hope nothing else happens. Everything has come at once and they are not good things for Valencia and the dressing room because they affect the players," the 26-year-old added.
Valencia reportedly paid 17.6 million euros (26 million dollars) to sign Banega for five and a half years. The Argentina under-20 international trained Monday with his new teammates for the first time.
His arrival comes at a rocky time for Valencia, which crashed out of the Champions League at the group stage and has slumped to seventh in the league table.
The club's Portuguese midfielder Manuel Fernandes spent Friday morning in police custody following an incident at a nightclub.
Last month, Valencia's new Dutch coach Ronald Koeman caused a stir when he informed veteran trio David Albelda, 30, Miguel Angel Angulo, 30, and goalkeeper Santiago Canizares, 37, that they were surplus to requirements as he gives the team a facelift.
Valencia president Juan Soler later denied that the trio had been sidelined. Koeman has included Banega in his line-up for Valencia's last 16 first leg match against Real Betis in the King's Cup.
