CHIVAS 5-3 COLO COLO

5-3? Hell yes!

Yay Chivas.

Now if only I could watch the damn games!!!!!

Meanwhile, UNIVERSITARIO 0-0 NACIONAL, and the other game was a tie as well, so universitario goes forward on away goals.

Oh and also, its a damn shame that Jesus Corona (JOSÉ DE JESÚS CORONA RODRÍGUEZ) isnt playing with Chivas this libertadores.

The guy is amazing. Last year, Chivas beat Boca 4-0 at home, and then in Buenos Aires tied 0-0 thanks to this man. He had the most amazing saves. And he was the backup goalie.

Unforunatly for everybody, he was sent to Germany as the backup goalie for the confederations cup, as well as Chivas main goalie...

I want to see him play more. Hopefully, he'll be at the World Cup and get some game time.

Hes like the Jack Bauer of soccer.

(His home team is Tecos)

Well the transfer window's over, and Portsmouth turned out to be the biggest spenders. Actually Arsenal at the very least outspent them, but Portsmouth brought in the most players. 9 in fact.

They have an entirely new midfield (plus a sub) of Routledge (loan), D'Alessandro (loan), Davis, Mendes and Koroman (loan), a new centre back in Paramot, a new goalkeeper in Kiely, and two new forwards in Benjani and Olisadebe.

Portsmouth still have one hell of a scrap to stay up, when you look at the teams around them. Sunderland will go down obviously, but I have a hard time believing the likes of Fulham, Newcastle, Villa or Middlesbrough could go down. I suspect those final two spots will come down to a battle between three teams: Portsmouth, Birmingham and West Brom. I guess they've given themselves the best chance they could, but those forward choices...LuaLua, Pericard, Dario Silva, Benjani, Olisadebe, Todorov, Mbesuma...they don't thrill me, and Portsmouth are the lowest scorers in the league.

Portsmouth could crash down i think, their next few matches are huge for their confidence and they have Bolton tonight, then Newcastle, then Man U followed by Chelsea. If they dont take anything from those 4 games they could fall apart.

They'll get at least 3 more points this season though becasue they have sunderland again in April.

There are no hard run ins though for the entire bottom half of the premiership, they all seem to be mainly playing eachother in April/May, theres a hell of a lot of 6 pointers so its pretty hard to predict who will join Sunderland

Why must they steal every good Lazio player? :(

slighly off on a tangent, but JGAF/Tokyopia FC will have it's first kick about soon!

SOON THE LOCAL FUTSAL COURTS, TOMORROW - JLEAUGE DOMINANCE!!! HA HA HAH AHAAA HAH AH AH AAHAHAHAhaaa..

Troidal , Reno (?), DCharlie, Jonnyram, Cormacaroni so far...

WHICH OTHER INTREPID PLAYERS WILL LEAD US TO GLORY?!

*i predict at least one fatal injury, and a geek heart attack!*

WHAT THE FUCK DO FERDINAND AND VAN DER SAR THINK THEY ARE DOING!!!!! WHAT FUCKING WANKERS!

Blackburn 3 - 1 Manyoo at half time. Two goals gifted to Bently and a stoppage time penalty by the thug leader Lucas Neill

1-2 Arse-West Ham Utd. The sky is falling. Suddenly Sol looks 80 yrs old.

I wouldn't mind signing A. Ferdinand in the offseason. What are the chances, Ghost?

Arsenal losing would usually make me happy, but not at the moment. Manyoo are making me rip my hair out.

Watch West Ham throw it away now.

Brooklyn, your only chance of getting Anton is us going down, he's tied up till 2010. Spurs have a stockpile of a dozen or so promising english center backs, take one of them.

I have to say that not only do I like Ferdinand, but Benayoun (sp?) as well. Every time I see him he's creating something, moving on the ball and playing good defense as well.

This is a fucking nightmare. I cant fucking believe that this is happening again. Bently just scored his hattrick, which makes it 4-1 to rovers.

I couldnt care less about Chelsea. Im concerned about 2nd place. That win against Liverpool means nothing if we lose.

well we got a goal back thanks to ruud van Nistelrooy. Now its 4-2. Im dreaming of a comeback but I dont see it happening if Friedel is going to have one of his superhero days.

Man shitty are beating Newcastle 3-0. I cant see how Souness can still be Newcastle manager after this. He's dragging a team with great history and a current squad with so much potential very far down. Newcastle should be fighting for a champions league spot.

:lol Too bad gooners. That must hurt a lot though. When a team pushes for a goal and comes so close the worst thing that can happen is to concede a goal.

Xabi a great player, he scores such important goals. Im sure Birmingham will be thanking him for scoring an own goal :lol

We are a man down. Ferdinand got sent off because that fucking cunt Savage started crying like the little girl that he is.

EDIT: The girl got taken off on a stretcher

what a strange night.
Yeah :lol

I was busy watching Roma-Juve. Juve are out of Copa Italia! Roma victa! :)

But goddamn.. Chelsea have lost 4 points in 2 games now.. fuck.. it's just pure luck United and Liverpool didnt take advantage of it.

Blackburn wasted loads of time and the game was stopped many times. The stoppage time seemed justified. It didnt make a difference to the final score though, we lost 4-3. Ruud van Nistelrooy really saved us from a proper humiliation. the result is bad, but it doesnt mean as much since Liverpool drew to Birmingham.

I never thought i'd ever say this about Chelski but I will be cheering for them when the play Liverpool next week. A Chelski victory would increase our chances of finishing 2nd.

Fowler had an overhead kick disallowed for offside two minutes into injury time :-(

And as swiftly as it began can we stop the RIO FOR ENGLAND MIDFIELD campaign now? Thanks.

And Tottenham lost last night. :lol...someone got taken to the cleaners.

West Ham took four of six points against the Gunners this season. I bet the last time that happened was when John Lukic was keeping for us as a blonde. I can't say I'm surprised though...the defensive core has been decimated with injuries and African Cup priorities.

And Blackburn took all six points against United :lol...I mean WTF. I had no idea two EPL powerhouses could crash and burn this quickly.

I wouldn't worry...there's no chance Sol will be starting for England the way he's played the last little while (apparantely he looked like crap again today), so that's where Rio will be.

yeah. the top seven teams all dropped points. Liverpool is just unlucky though, I still see them challenging Chelsea this weekend. It is probably why Benitez had Alonso and Carragher on the bench and took Gerrard off after 70 minutes. I don't doubt 'pool finishing second, but it's a shame, could have closed the gap on Man U and Chelsea.

Well I hope he's not upset with Arsene for pulling him, because he's fucking SUCKED the last few games. Hopefully it's just a case of him being ashamed of his own lacklustre play, along with the entire team going into a tail spin.

That game should've been ours. Why in the world did Nolan let Fadiga take the penalty? I don't even give a shit that Fadiga scored later on, they would've won with that penalty. Now they didn't capitalize on Arsenal and Wigan giving up points and Blackburn is right on their tail. Pfft

What's even more strange is barca is now out of copa del ray too. Ronaldinho was sent out by straight red card - and the call was really too harsh IMHO... (I do see his spike coming in, but ...)

Very strange day, and while Chelsea draw astonvilla, but nobody was able to close the gap. Baaad...

Hey guys, what's happening? Oh did I not...I thought I'd said....no? Oh ok.

*clears throat*

YES! YES! FUCKING YEEEESSS!

I seriously would have cried if Blackburn hadn't won that game after going 4-1 up. Especially as the first United goal was offside and the other two were once again down to fucking stupid, needless mistakes (if not on a Rio level).

That was the first ever hat trick scored against United in the Premiership you know. I still don't think Bentley is best as a striker, but I'm thrilled to see we can score from all over the park. Not sure Rio deserved that second yellow (I say it's an exchange for the offside goal...but then I would).

y hello thar arsenal point totul

Though thanks a lot every other fucking team who played tonight who was supposedly clearly weaker than the opposition, thanks for stealing my thunder! Or perhaps Blackburn are the ones stealing, that West Ham result should be headlining normally and it's not, at some places anyway.

Hey, here's a fun game. Guess who has the best Premiership form in the last 6 weeks. I'll give you a hint, it's not Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Man Utd, Villa, Spurs, Fulham, Wigan, West Ham, Charlton, Bolton, Birmingham, Man City, West Brom, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, Sunderland or Newcastle (wtf, Newcastle's form is worst than Sunderland's :lol).

I apologise, I won't be so insufferable for long, it's just a long time since we've had such a run and capped off with a United defeat...must be the best time as a Rovers fan since we won the title.
