Well maybe because all you get is a double claw shot and it really doesn't change it up too much from when you got the clawshot earlier in the game. Each dungeon you have had cool new uses for the special item you find. This one is just a small enhancement.

I was skeptical about the graphics at first, but after playing it, it really is above RE4 in everything, except perhaps, the models complexity. Lighting, textures, effects, are done much better in TP and with a much larger scope too.nightez said:Some people were saying this comes second to RE4 in terms of visuals. The graphics and animation here aren't even as good as Wind Waker (which looks exactly like a real cartoon). The Metroid Prime games are also ahead of this. The music is good, remember this is a game not a movie, midi makes the soundtrack interactive.

jwj442 said:I just beat the game. I played through it slower than most people (60 hours), and I'm not even close to finished with the extras - I still have to get about a third of the bugs, 26 heart pieces, about half the poes, and a couple of other sidequests in minigames. I generally ride instead of warping, so I'm sure that added some time.
What I liked:
- Hyrule Field is huge, and very fun to just ride around shooting and slashing stuff. The best overworld in the series.
- The story has some issues, but is overall enjoyable.
- I love the hidden skills. Great fun to use.
- AMAZING art direction throughout the game.
- Amazing boss fights.
- Midna was a great character. I also liked a lot of the supporting cast (the yetis, the kids, Telma, Agitha, etc.)
- Plenty of great minigames. Fishing, canoe archery, the bird game, the STAR challenge, all fun.
- Even if they are easy, lots of cool enemies.
- The DUNGEONS. Definitely the best in the series.
- So many awesome cutscenes. My favorite was the one where we first saw Ganon.
- All major characters (, Link, Zelda, Zant, Midna) are very well-designed, and a lot of the minor ones are too.Ganon
- Castle Town feels very alive. I would have liked to be able to talk to more of the people, but it still does a great job of capturing the hustle and bustle of the city.- Carrying a dying Midna to Zelda is masterfully executed. A very emotional sequence, marred only by the stupid combat music.
What I didn't like:
- I think the game was gorgeous overall, but there are a few areas where the textures hurt the look.
- Music isn't up to par with OoT or MM, though there are still some fantastic songs (Hyrule field, piano song, etc.) Not being orchestrated isn't a big deal to me, though.
- The story was overall enjoyable, largely thanks to Midna and the presentation. However, the pacing of the plot drops off in the middle (it moves steadily forward for the first few dungeons, then stops going anywhere for awhile, and doesn't pick back up again until the 8th.
- Horseback combat is so much fun, it's a pity it wasn't fleshed out more. Why have only three major sequences, and stop with orcs on boars? Why not have Lizalfos on Dodongos, Stalfos on undead horses, maybe even Darknuts on mammoth-sized beasts?
- Combat was generally too easy, though extremely fun thanks to the skills. I honestly think that enemies should have all had their damage doubled. Bosses in particular were noticeably easy, though the fights were spectacular. That said, I haven't finished the Cave of Ordeals (the 5-redead floor killed me).
- Some items weren't used enough. Wouldn't a minigame built around the spinner have been awesome?- The story generally leaves too many loose ends open. Why were the kids kidnapped? What's with Zant snapping his neck? Ganon wasn't fully explained either
- Last two dungeons are overly short. The eighth has a nice atmosphere, but I don't think it's very much fun to go through. The ninth is fairly fun, though.
- The ending isn't up to par with OoT, MM, or WW. However, all those games have fantastic endings. Even a semi-weak Zelda ending is still a good ending by most games' standards.
I think that even with the extra year, the game still felt a bit rushed in a few areas. However, no game is perfect, and this comes a lot closer than most games of its scope. Even though I listed a lot of flaws, they don't really hurt my overall opinion of the game that much. It is one of my favorite games ever, and it is very rare that I'll say that about a game.

The Mailman is in the last fairy room for some reason though.

But now I'm stuck trying to catch that damn. I caught it once after a couple of minutes, didn't realize what I needed to do... So now I've been trying to catch another for about 30 minutes. They all surround the lure, but they don't bite. Any tips?red fish

I am stuck in the sky temple, I can't find the room of the big boss.
Tell me where I need to go (I am in the room with all the ropes, the room outside the big dungeon key)

lockii said:Just finished the game, definitely the best game of this year and one of the finer games ever made. Has it surpassed OOT though? Hard to say at this point, OoT has the nostalgia bonus.
I loved the final boss battles with Puppet Zelda, then Ganon, then Ganondorf again on horseback, then Ganondorf again in a duel. Talk about an epic boss fight. Now I had read an endgame spoiler before finishing the game, hearing that Midna dies. Wtf was that about? I heard so many people saying it from all different sources and it didn't end up being true.
Heh, I justDarunia said:Since spoiler tags work again, my remark on the final dungeon:
Did anyone else think that the solution to some of the puzzles in the beginning of this "dungeon" were pretty well hidden? I was trying to get the map and it took me a long time to even notice the pile of leaves that was lying there, and the diagram to the solution. Then in the castle I didn't see that you could shoot down the portrait, revealing the torch lighting order. Maybe I was blinded by the desire to kick Ganon's ass, but I didn't see it for a while. It was kinda funny that you get through all these dungeons and large areas with ease, only to be stuck at these little puzzles.
