Bug alert! Anyone come across this and fix it? I'm at the 4th dungeon.
I walked through quicksand, climbed out last second, and now Link and Wolf Link are constantly 'walking through quicksand', even on solid ground
.

Did you use sense? There might be a couple of ghostly friends nibbling at you.

Hmmm, I missed this part:
Link is then seen riding towards his home town after staking the Master Sword in the Sacred Grove.

Everyone is saying something else. Is
Link riding home to Ilya or is he leaving?

What's the deal with the Magic Armour? I did all the quests and bought it for 600 and all it does is drain away all my rupees in less than half a minute? That seems so useless, or am I missing something? :(

For it to be useful, you have to have a lot of rupees.
Also, the more you get hit while wearing it, the more it'll drain. 'Course if you were OK with not ever getting hit while wearing it, you wouldn't need it in the first place, I suppose.

I had about 750ish rupees by the last stage of the cave of ordeals, turned it on, got kicked around a few times, and finished with like 20 rupees to spare...

i just beat the game, took me 38 hours. geat game, wiimote control for the win. best zelda ever, best story ever. for the next zelda i want something totaly different, since n64 zelda has been the same over and over again, expect for celda but this one was to boring and short. its time they sit down and think of a totaly new direction on the puzels and bosses. the game was really great but it took me no brain to complet it, nothing has changed since n64 times. we need a shift ala resi 4, new direction but superp game

I thought it was a bug too :lol . It's not, check YOUR surroundings. I mean... YOURS.

I just got finished with the game. The last boss was a let down :/ The camera kept causing me to get hit from the stupidest of attacks.I do like how it was presented, but it was easy as hell and the camera was utterly retarded.

Great game though. I think I might have messed up. I was going to go get some of the different upgrades, but, it doesn't seem to be changing from nighttime. :( I still have to do the secret stuff, so...I'll do what I can.

I finally got this game! :D

So far I played it for about 3 hours straight and I'm loving every minute of it.
I'm back to my human form and I got the green tunic now.

Oh yeah, it's the GC version. My mother tried to get me a Wii, but it was sold out everywhere. Oh well. I'm just happy that I got Zelda.

Well, I got this today and after 3 hours of gameplay I'm pretty pleased. Though I'm not certain I will be able to stand the controls for the whole game and the camera is kind of annoying. Hopefully I will be able to adjust.

GAF please help me out i have just reached the GERUDO DESERT and midna wants to remove some block or some shit but every portal i am trying none of them will allow me to progress please help :(
The "block" is actually the missing part of the Eldin bridge.

Spoiler tag that.

Anyway, that is actually a missing part of the Eldin Bridge. You'll want to go back to the Bridge (but on the side that doesn't lead to Kakariko/Castle Town), because you need to defeat the Twilight creatures that reside here. Once you defeat them, you'll open up a portal to Eldin Bridge. Go back to Gerudo Desert and then you can warp to Eldin, allowing for the reconstruction of Eldin Bridge.

so, after you finish the game
the game doesn't save itself. So if I want to do all the sidequests, I must get out of the castle? There's also no -harder- 2nd run.
other zeldas were different in this sense.

Saving in
Hyrule Castle at the end of the game
is just like saving in any Zelda dungeon ever. The next time you turn the game on you're at the beginning of the dungeon. Leaving the area is no chore at all.

EDIT: I also don't recall harder run-throughs in Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, or The Wind Waker.

windwaker had that litle extra thing ...xD you know with the invisible tunic. --
Ow, and you could understand those "gods" too.

Well, I finished the game, and have gone through Hyrule Castle several times to try and figure this out- so finally Im gonna ask:

Where the HELL do I get the key to unlock that door before the boss room?

On another note, when is open discussion going to be allowed to I can post my full thoughts on this Zelda as a whole? I wont do it if I have to spoiler tag every second word.

It's outside the castle. There's an area that you've missed, or haven't completed properly. Check your map.

I recall what always impresses me about Zelda is the puzzles. Me and my friend would sit round our N64 for days trying to figure the simplest things out on OoT. Now I am all grown up and playing TP, and I can't help but look at the guide. The last thing I did was
transport that hot meteor
but I cheated I read it up on the gamestop walkthrough. Now I really hate myself for it. I still have the walkthrough on my laptop, but I need to just delete it. Its too convenient. Does anyone else go through this? I am still enjoying myself, but I know I am missing the satisfaction.

I also just completed SMB 3 on the GBA for the first time in my life. And I read up on how to kill Bowser. Not that it was hard to figure out, but to make sure. I eventually killed him by fireballing him. I didn't know you could kill bosses with that, but I was just messing about. Then I checked up on Youtube and you can, all the speed runs are done like that.

Outside the castle (by the wall where that Gale Boomerang puzzle was), there's a pile of leaves. Midna says something to you about being interested in the other side of the wall, I think, when you clear the first pile of leaves which shows which order you should use the Gale Boomerang in. There's another pile somewhere back by the wall, anyways. Go through that as a wolf and you'll come up on the other side of the wall. It's a graveyard of sorts.

Yeah I try to avoid faqs, unless I'm playing something like Silent Hill 2 with retarded puzzles that make no sense. Zelda's puzzles are usually environment oriented and logical. I did check a faqs on where the RollGoal game was cause you guys kept talking about it and I couldn't find it.

I only used a FAQ once while I was playing, and it was because I solved the
Knight's puzzle thing once, lost my save game and had to do it again, rather then figure it out again, I used a guide.

I just arrived at the
Sky City

With a game that was already approaching 60 hours, did Nintendo really need to add that statue hunt? I mean good grief, the game had such a fast pace before that.

Aside from that, everything rocks. I'm looking forward to the endgame.

It was what, 10 minutes? And they were all clearly indicated on the map.

Still, a lot of
Hey, remember Hyrule? Yeah, you traveled here, here, and here. Ooh, remember this? Just kind of unnecessary IMO.

I enjoyed that part. It only took a few minutes, and it took me to places to Hyrule that Ive barely even seen before. And controlling them was kind of fun. Too bad that item wasnt used more thoroughly, and more creatively.

Still, absolutely nothing like WWs painful triforce hunt.

Just finished dungeon #7 and it is easily has to be one of the slickest designed dungeons ever.....including the boss fight too.

Pure genius....

So I just beat TP, after a 2 hour+ session, which included some sidequesting
(namely getting the 1000 rupees to rebuild the bridge)
but after beating
Ganon
and seeing that final "The End" you're not able to save! All that work for nothing!

I went from being very happy to downright bitter in less than 5 seconds. God dammit, Nintendo.

Can someone tell me the locations of all the bottles?

-20 Poe souls
-Fish in the fishing hole (on the left side in the Wii version, in a small pond and not the main lake area)
-lantern oil
-milk for rescuing cat

That's all I know

Someone mentioned it earlier, but this game could have done with another 6 months of development time.

Adding more minigames, places to visit in Castle Town, that take advantage of the incredible items that only see very limited use in the game.
Spinner, Ball and Chain, Dominion Rod

That's a big spoiler lol.

And wtf at nintendosbooger, bring on metroid prime 3, it's not even made by the zelda team, different game.

Ok, so I haven't read the other pages cause I'm scared of spoilers. I'm at the part where
I have to collect the 6 symbols or whatever for the Shadow Book

Anyways, I got that OST + Shield/Sword set from Target, but is there any other place with the songs from the game? I keep wanting to listen to the Ooccoo Theme and it's driving me wild
