I was shocked to find that this new theme is not in the game (wait for the Sacred Grove part)

Still love the blue purple explosions more, and is it just me or the opening of passages look much better than the standard fade effect they have in the final game.
Yeah... that's after it clears (with the fade effect) as the skull kids starts running through the it. Not the nifty effect you see in the video I showed you.mrkgoo said:The lost woods don't just have a fade effect. Some of the passages, you can just see into the next 'room'.
Title ThemeBrandNew said:Are...are you serious? Wind Waker's list was probably 1 fourth of that. The only worthwhile tracks I can list for Wind Waker were Hyrule Castle, Windfall, and Dragon Roost.

Memorable Musics for me:
Yeah, there's a lot, but this list is very short compared to Ocarina, Majora or Wind Waker- New Shop Theme (especially the Malo-Mart mix!)
- Hyrule Field
- Midna's Theme
- Lake Hylia
- Hyrule Town
- Impaz
- Kakariko Village (Kakariko + Dark World = awesome!)
- Taming Epona
- Graveyard
- Snowpeak Ruins
- City in the Sky
- Palace of Twilight (so surreal)
- Horseback Battle Theme (it's different from the original one they had at E305 :O )
- Bulbin King theme
- Monkey Mid Boss
- Vulnerable Boss Theme (remixed for every boss)
- Boss Victory Theme
- Midna's Theme after beating a boss
- Fyrus
- Morpheel/Argorok
- Stallord (OOT Dinosaur Boss Theme)
- Blizetta
- Armogohma
- Zant!
- Puppet Zelda
- Cutscene just before the Ganondorf horseback battle
- Final Ganondorf Fight
And how do you suppose they do that? :SScullibundo said:.Hopefully the next incarnation of it wont be limited to on-rails gameplay.

I have to admit that Ive been disapoointed so far. Im having a lot of fun with it, but Im sure that Nintendo could have made this game better. The zelda atmosphere just isnt there. The characters have not been as memorable as before. So far the only person who Ive really liked is Midna. People like renado and Telma are okay, but they are not brilliant characters. A lot of this is down to the character models. hen I knew that twilight princess was going to have realistic graphics, I was expecting serious looking people, but instead the game has got cartoon looking character. Mood ost characters in TP would look good if they were cel-shaded, but the cartoony characters dont look good in a realistic zelda.Brobzoid said:I wonder how everyone will feel about this game as it comes off it's hype-wave. It's always fun to see how general perception does a 180 because the hype was too big(like dead rising). Not that TP will have that, but maybe to some degree.

Mato said:I'm a huge Zelda fan, OOT and especially MM are two of my very favourites games and I feel like saying I'm dissapointed with this game. I'm only now getting to play this (started about a week ago)
Dr.Hadji said:Many people were like you once (me included). Its getting kind of old now but play more of the game before you start type casting the game.
Mato said:I'm 21 hours into, I just got to the desert, how long does the game need to grow on me. It's fun, very solid, but disappointing.
eXistor said:I agree, I love the game, it's great and all that. But it felt like a remix of OoT with too little new and interesting content. While Wind Waker has some fundemental flaws that TP doesn't have, I had more fun playing that than TP. I'm not too disappointed though, but I have wondered what the game would be like if it didn't cave in to fan-pressure.
I really do hope this is the last of the traditional Zelda's. Just think how awesome a world like SotC combined with Zelda's gameplay would be like. TP's Hyrule felt too constructed and fake, SotC's world is very natural, so rather than using the clawshot in places the game wants you to use it, you could use it on any surface. Alot of the time it would lead to nothing, but when it does the feeling of accomplishment and exploration is so much better.
Zelda doesnt need to change too much. What I think does need to happen is that you have a game that involves the traditional characters and the traditional story, but the next zelda game should be something like majora's mask, which doesnt involve any of the well known zelda characters other than Link. If you keep making a game thats like OoT one have after the other, its going to lose its brilliance and people will get sick of it, but if every other zelda game was the traditional zelda and the ones in between are like majora's mask, then it will be fine.eXistor said:I agree, I love the game, it's great and all that. But not every zelda game from now on should be like MM. They should have one like MM, then one like Oot, the one like MM and so on. That way people wont get bored of both different games.Mato said:Yes, it just needs to evolve, it doesn't have to completely scrap everything that makes Zelda what it is. MM is the way to go.

Nintendo could do so much if they made more games similar to MM. Hyrule is just one kingdom in the world, so everytime Ninten do want to do something diffferent to the traditional zelda games, they could set it in a different kindgom and introduce a completely different story and a different set of characters.

robot said:I'm about 4 hours in the Wii version and I decided to stop everything and buy the gamecube version and start over. I feel like the wii controls are too distracting, especially the swordplay. For example, I find myself getting hit mostly because the controller isnt responding well to my actions. I was hoping it would be an improvement over the n64/cube controls, but I was way off. It feels like they tried way too hard to tack on these controls to what seems to be an amazing game so far.
I didnt want to backtrack in this thread to see if I was the only one, and risk reading spoilers - but is anyone else in the same boat as me?
