As sure as I am Leonard Marshall took 5 years off Joe Montana's life in '89-'90 this will not happen. Save the money bets for the game.

read the details of said bet again my friend ;)

and as sure as i am that we are one of only 3 teams that has 5 superbowl trophies (none of which are the giants), the 49ers will sign nate clements :D

NFL | ESPN lets go of Irvin
Sat, 17 Feb 2007 17:21:33 -0800

Barry Horn, of The Dallas Morning News, reports ESPN has parted ways with NFL analyst Michael Irvin, according to ESPN spokesman Bill Hoffheimer. Hoffheimer said Irvin did not violate any contractual morals clause

Damn now who will buy all these Irvin to English Dictionaries now....

nfc west is going to be reaaaaaally tough next year

Thats where we agree on. The NFC west is on the rise, where as the North and the East are on the decline. Rams, Seahawks, and the great and ultimate Niner fans(sorry Cards) will battle for GAF supremecy next year. Either way, we must end the reign of terror held by NFC East gaffers, they are too many in numbers!

Reign of terror? The last two NFC Champs came out of the North and the West.

The Eagles and Cowboys will be better teams next year, the Giants will be middle of the road with the loss of Tiki, and the Skins will still suck. It'll still be the toughest division in football, we had three teams in the playoffs last year!

guys didn't you know? The AFC East is the toughest division in football! They have the legendary Patriots, a Dolphins team that should make the super bowl, the Jets, and even the Bills! [/every NFL analyst ever]

"Ring my ass, i knew i shoulda used a rubber..."

Is that why Brady dumped her? It's probably all part of his master plan: when his kid grows up and learns who his dad is, he'll be pissed off and become the greatest QB of all time. It's like a real life sports movie!

Washington Redskins
Cap room: $4.3 million
Don't expect the Redskins to go crazy in free agency. They have 11 free agents, but only LB Warrick Holdman is a starter. There could be significant roster changes, though. Gibbs could wipe out quarterback Mark Brunell, wide receiver David Patten, safety Troy Vincent, kicker John Hall, wide receiver Brandon Lloyd and safety Adam Archuleta. T.J. Duckett will leave in free agency. The Redskins figure to make major improvements along the defensive front seven, which became less athletic last season. The key to the team's playoff chances is how Jason Campbell develops at quarterback

:lol :lol :lol
I swear, The Redskins make all of their decisions based off Ninja Scooter playing Owners Mode in Madden.

I wouldn't mind giving Archuleta a look if hes isn't exensive, as well as Duckett, who would serve as a good short yardage/goaline back for us. Brandon Lloyd can kiss my ass though, I doubt anyone will pick his sorry ass up.

Archuleta=a poor, poor, poooooor man's roy williams. **** him. Im glad they're wiping guys like him and BLloyd out, we should have never signed them to begin with. TJ Duckett can go too. We dont' need a backup rb anymore.

Archuleta is a poor poor mans Micheal Lewis. And thats saying something cause ML cant cover anyone.

you just know archuletta is going to get some big contract with some team. there's just something about him

first jennifer walcott, then danny snyder. it's only a matter of time before he winds up a lion.

why oh why do teams keep thinking Norv can be a succesful head coach? The Chargers are going to waste 2-3 seasons of an absolutely loaded team finding out how much of a joke he is. Marty>>>>>>>Norv.

With any luck Alex Smith will revert back to his 2005 form.

I don't know, Norv had some pretty shitty teams in Washington and especially in Oakland. If Norv f's this opportunity up I don't think he'll get another shot at the NFL level.

what the **** ron rivera is fired

to be honest, lovie smith is the guy calling the shots with the bears defense, hes an ex-defensive coordinator afterall, losing rivera is no big deal imo, i think babich will be just fine as defensive coordinator

babich is currently the LB coach and bears assistant head coach, apparantely he is very well liked by the players, so w/e

Lovie is calling the plays? News to me.

:lol! Brady to be a father! Moynahan is three months already.

This kid is going to be like the Gohan of quarterbacks.

The kid will be born a jackal, I pretty much guarantee it. These are end of days are upon us..:(

you dont think lovie had his hands in on the defense scheme/gameplanning/calling?

they will be running the same cover 2 scheme no matter who the defensive coordinator is, i dont think chico was an integral part of the bears overall success the past 2 seasons, there wont be a big drop off between chico and babich

All those people saying Norv was never given a fair chance in Oakland or Washington, will finally be shut up after the Chargers go 8-8.

seriously, while Lord Brady is waiting for his hotass baby momma Bridget Monoyhan to give birth to his spawn, he gets to bone Gisselle? And any of you doubt his power?

:lol :lol

http://www.idontlikeyouinthatway.com/2007/02/bridget-moynahan-is-knocked-up.html

Sources close to Moynahan say that Brady knew she was pregnant during the playoffs but dumped her anyway because the actress's plan to get married and start a family wasn't in line with his plan to have sex other hot women. However, the rumor is that Moynahan has gone public with the pregnancy because she's bitter and jealous over the fact that Brady moved on so quickly with model Gisele Bundchen. Meanwhile, the unborn baby says he'll be born rich and banging models by the time he's in junior high so he's pretty much okay with the situation. He says thanks for asking though.

Now which Gohan are you talking about? Kid Gohan or adult Gohan, because adult Gohan was a wuss.

Why haven't the Giants cut Chad Morton and Tim Carter yet? Jeez.

soulja224466, how did Sehorn cost you a SuperBowl?

why would the bears fire rivera? :lol

god that franchise doesn't know what to do with it's coaches. Dick Jauron goes 13-3 and gets canned, now this while bumbling the Lovie Smith situation by low-balling him. Man.... just crazy.

Frankman, we already had this talk in the baseball thread about separating anime and sports. Offhand comments maybe, but no discussion!:P

Ron Rivera didn't get fired.

His contract was done and didn't get renewed. :)

Bears management probably lowballed him (like they do with ALL coaches) and he told them to go **** themselves.

Of course seeing as how the Bears D tanked three times in four playoff games in the last 2 years (Carolina, Seattle, Indy) might not have helped his cause.

Is it still technically "low-balling" someone when they've repeatedly demonstrated that they can't land a better job than you're offering? :D

he didnt cost us a superbowl per se, but his blown tackle/poor coverage on steve smiths double OT 70 yard td didnt help. i just like to blame the whole game on him tho, makes it more convienent :)

I don't think it's a huge loss or anything, I was just surprised.

If you think Jauron was/is a good coach, you might be missing a few chromosomes.
