An Xbox 360. Yep I'm going to do it assuming MS has a price drop next year. I'm doing it for 2 reasons.

1. I love games
2. To ****ing stick it to Sony

Don't get me wrong I love my PS3 and the games I brought today (Madden, 2K7, and Resistence). But this non active downloading is pissing me off and I had to talk to this big guy (like 6'2'' 250 lbs) and try to explain to him why he couldn't get a PS3 this year. He was 1 second away from crying.

A grown freaking man. Can you believe it. The PS3 will be my main console, but as soon as I get the 360 I'm buying Gears of War then any other huge game exclusive that they have at the price drop.

Im only going to be buying the huge exclusives like Lost Planet, Gears, Halo 3, Bioshock, etc. Sony has to learn that even if they have a loyal customer like me (I've loved Playstation products since 1997) they have to compete better again MS in the pricing and the availability.

So in closing I'll see you 360 guys next year on Live (Speevy I'm looking at you).

The only reason why I'm waiting on a price drop is because I just spent $600 on a PS3, $1,300 on a HDTV, and $200 on games.

I need some time to save up my money and buy time I get my money straight a price drop should be around the corner.

2 things. On LAUNCH day, you are already talking about sticking it to the company that made the system you spent a ton of cash on. And this doesn't bother you? And you say you love games and yet you have ignored Gears, Oblivion, Dead Rising, GRAW, Viva, a slew of decent multi-platform titles. Makes no sense at all to me. Buyer's remorse is what this sounds like in some ways.

Sell your PS3 on Ebay and use the proceeds to buy a 360 now and a bunch of games. The remaining $$ can be used to buy a PS3 next year when it's more readily available.

This is no remorse. I'm buying the console to play some good exclusives, but I feel so bad for all the people that aren't getting PS3s right now. And at the end of the day if I can give MS one more console sold with 2 or 3 games brought from them or some 3rd party exclusive then that's better for MS and worst for Sony because the race is tighter.

Is there really a launch title worth buying a PS3 for? For me at least, there isn't.

The 360 has some good exclusives that I will love to play. Gears, Halo 3, Lost Planet, and Bioshock will probably bet the first 4 games that I'll buy for the 360.

I can assure you that most who love a new console normally don't go on a message board the day it launches talking about the "other system" and a desire to "stick it" to the company you just supported on LAUNCH day. Sounds like some weird form of rationalization or remorse.

With the stupid prices on ebay there is no WAY i'd ever keep the PS3 now. I'd have a hell of christmas with the $2000+ profit from selling the thing (I'd be drunk permanently in December) and buy a Wii and 360 and pick up the PS3 next year when there was something actually worth playing.

And since you've already stated that it's going to be your "main console", and judging from Sony's hardware track record, you can fail at sticking it to them again down the line when you have to buy a new PS3 after your launch system dies.

I don't get it. You bought into all the Sony hype and got a console on launch day and now you want to stick it to them? Why didn't you just avoid buying a PS3 and get a 360 instead? You talk about exclusives on PS3, but the only one worth anything at launch is Resistance. You should have stuck it to Sony by buying a 360 and a bunch of 360 exclusives for the same money you just dropped down for Resistance and Madden (which is not exclusive).
