Man this thread took off. Looks like my backlog is getting a hell of a lot bigger. Seems like Rogue Galaxy is a must find, as are Freedom Fighters, Black, and Shinobi. Keeping my eyes peeled, though I get the feeling I may need to go out of my way to some game shops for them.

There was indeed. It was a 3rd-person shooter, and it was highly enjoyable.
