Runs locked at 60 on the Ultra preset for the most part. I get some drops and hitches on certain maps but nothing too bad. I could probably even jack the settings up a bit more.

Anyone with i5 2500k? If yes, are You able to run it at locked 120fps on it now?

----------------------
The game also suffers from shitloads of input lag at 60 fps so doubling the framerate mitigates it somewhat.

It doesn't really 'fix' the input lag, it just reduces it so it's a bit more manageable

the mouse is still very floaty at 120 fps for me (much less than at 60, but it's still bad)

Go back and forth between overwatch and cs:go or dirty bomb or even battlefield (which also suffers from some input lag) and the difference is night and day.

The input lag is the main thing putting me off from overwatch right now, it's just not enjoyable to me to have to fight the controls like this.
Yeah, so it was not improved. I had this in alpha, basically below 100 fps it was not really playable for me.
It actually had not only input lag, but also some stutter back then.

i5 2500k (stock speed)
560 TI
8gb DDR3 1600
1080p

At 100% rendering I had to boot mostly everything down to low or off entirely to keep it at 55-60fps, the automatic rendering (79%) runs at solid 60fps with almost everything else turned up to medium or high but it looks like a horrible vaseline filter smeared all over the game. I dunno why, but every setting other than render resolution has next to no impact on framerate which is pretty annoying since lower than 100% looks horrid.

i5 3450
550ti (oc'd)
8gb DDR3 1600
1080p

45-55fps @100% rendering most things on high/med.
Quite surprised actually all things considered. I think people with older cards etc are going to get a lot out of this one. Blizzard have done some great optimisation as far as scalability.

i5-2500K (OC to 4.3 GHz)
Radeon 7850 (OC to 7950 clock speed)
8GB RAM
BenQ 144hz Monitor

Getting around 170-200fps consistent on 1600x900, low settings

i5-4590,
16GB,
R9 290 4GB (w/11% OC, Crimson 16.3.2)
Windows 10

I'm getting a solid 60fps at 1080p with EPIC settings. I have no problems with performance whatsoever. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the AA. Even the highest option leaves a bit of shimmering effect but that's just me being picky.

I'm baffled as to whether I'm doing something wrong here...

GTX 960 2GB
4690k
16GB ram
Windows 10

Latest drivers installed.

My frame rate currently bounces around from the 80s down to mid 40s when the action heats up. High settings. Shadows low. Fog off. Full screen.

Tried locking at 60 in Rivatuner
Tried using adaptive V-sync in control panel.

For the life of me I can't get a locked 60fps.

Checked my processes and I don't have a memory leak. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, but I'll have to give it another go tonight, when I'm home.

Fun game! Really hope I can sort it out. :(

OK it seems it was epic settings causing my performance degradation over time (for whatever reason). On ultra I'm getting 90fps 100% without any issues whatsoever (capping with Riva Tuner).

The game is so fucking fun as well, PLEASE don't let it be ruined by cheaters.

Haven't actually checked the framerate yet, but I'm running it on ultra and maxed out with res scale at 100% since bumping it to max killed my fps. I don't usually check fps unless I feel a drop or stutter so I've just assumed it's not dropping.

Settings: 1080p @ 150% render scale and everything else either turner on or set to max. I set "Limit FPS" to display-based.

Performance: Locked 70FPS no matter what.

Same experience (But with a shitty i7 4790k :P).

How are you guys setting the render scale at 122%? I've left mine on automatic but it stays at 100% and the other options are only multiples of 50.

70-90fps unlocked, but I just lock it to 60 for my TV. Game looks amazing.

More games need proper render scaling... Having to run some games in fullscreen 1080p versus borderless window because of no scale option is frustrating.

(edit) For anyone that needs to compare for lower specs, my wife's laptop...

Intel i5-4210u 1.7ghz
Nvidia 840M

Low settings, 768p,

40-70 fps

Game still looks great even at those settings/resolution. Was not expecting the lighting especially to still hold up so well.

How are you locking it to 60? Through nVidia control panel?

In-game frame limit is monitor refresh + 10hz.

MSI Afterburner, or more specifically the Riva Tuner component. It's great for everything from capping FPS, overclocking and setting a manual fan curve to keep your card cooler than default.

Hmm... I find myself bouncing back and forth between borderless windowed and fullscreen and weighing the pros and cons.

In borderless windowed I get smoother playback due to the triple-buffered vsync imposed by Windows, but the trade-off is a slight (but noticeable) amount of input lag. In fullscreen I get snappy, immediate input response but with tearing that I can't ignore. That's with the in-game fps limit set to Display (which is 70fps in my case with a 60hz monitor).

I'm not at home to try right now, but would playing in fullscreen and forcing 59 or 60fps through the Framerate Target Control option in my AMD Crimson driver software give me the best of both worlds? Low input lag with minimal tearing? That's how it's supposed to go when the game is no longer outputting more frames than the monitor can display, correct?

Is anyone feeling any input lag from the game? I was reading a few posts regarding the issue so I decided to check into it.

I7 2600 @ 4.2
970 @ 1500mhz
8gb ram
Evo ssd

I had it on epic settings with vsync, tripple buffering and frame linit off, everything else all the way up with render scale at 100%. I was getting around 90-120fps so I locked it at 100 since I'm using a 144hz monitor. While playing I didn't notice much of any input lag but decided to lower settings to medium and lock the fps to 144 and jesus did this feel completely different. My accuracy went from an average of 46 to 57-60 in basically every game after.

Could just be that I was in the zone or it was the smoothness of the frames matching the refresh rate but honestly anything over 70 is smooth for me.

Still having that issue where my performance goes from perfect to constantly dropping frames, it worked most the day no issues but it has started again. I'm just going to fucking format.

EDIT: It was my CPU, it's throwing out shit loads of WHEA-LOGGER errors. I've replaced the thermal paste and cleaned out the fans and upped my vcore a little, the OC has been stable for a very long time but I guess it's wearing out a bit. Will run Prime95 over night and see if it throws up any WHEA errors, hopefully not.

EDIT: Errors have stopped but it's still doing it, something is dying.

Right this is strange, I just played and the problem kicked in almost straight away but instead of closing the game and rage logging I stayed and after about 45 minutes it cleared itself up and started working perfectly for the next hour. I've never had a problem just randomly fix itself mid game, something is obviously unstable and it comes and goes but what? I'm thinking maybe memory or PSU as my GPU/CPU appear in perfect health from what I can see.

I made a little video showing it, it's worse when I'm playing but you get the idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLH8Qw3NqKA

If anyone has any ideas, I've basically tried everything I can think of.

I don't know if the PC fairies visited me the other night or what, but firing it up yesterday I was running mostly medium settings at a locked 90fps.

I'm afraid to raise anything. I'm fine with the way everything looks.

Is there anyway to lock this game to 60fps? According to the ingame FPS counter Im constantly going back and forth between 59\60 fps and it's creating this stutter effect that is annoying.

If I take vysnc and the frame limiter off then I usually get 100+ fps but it's not really constant.

For some reason, I can't get steady 144 FPS even with V-Sync on.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.5GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
8192MB RAM

Currently playing on Ultra (preset) and my FPS hover between 120 and 150. Doesn't look jittery, but I'd rather stay constant. Any suggestions on what I can do?

I think I was able to get a stable 144 with Medium/High settings locked through RTS but decided to put everything up and locked it at 120.

Edit: actually I lied these are my settings to reach a locked 144 locked through RTS with my 970. Vsync off, frame limit off and triple buffering off. I do have an i7 2600 and its overclocked as is my 970.

i5-3570k, GTX 970, I can play Epic with no issues. It seems pretty well optimized.

Same setup and I get 70/epic or 120/ultra rock solid, well until the game decides to stop running perfectly and go to shit for no apparent reason that is ;(

strange... I just noticed for some reason now at the start screen and in the options my fps go down from 144 to 70 regardless of what settings I change. Anyone else encounter a similar problems with fps lowering on random screens?

I think the start screen, character select, and any other screen using the higher-quality character models are all locked at 60-70fps. Seems to be hard-coded that way, which makes sense since there's no reason to tax the GPU rendering hundreds of frames for a menu screen.

Anyone playing this with an R9 Nano?

Interested to hear if i can run it at a decent detail level at 4k

Ok I can see this making sense and figured thats what was going on but why not just lock it at 60? I seem to remember when the open beta first started I was getting higher frames at those points but maybe they patched it up. In game however is totally fine so thats all that really matters I suppose.

Oh God, my problem was caused by an unstable CPU OC by the looks of it, 3 days ago I reset the BIOS so assumed it wasn't that, but apparently it didn't reset properly as I did it again today and actually went back to stock settings and the game ran absolutely perfectly at 120fps/ultra without a single hitch. My God, I've just wasted 2 days of the beta over this, it was one of the first fucking things I checked as well. On the plus side all my hardware has been thoroughly tested lol. At least now I can buy it without worrying about it running badly.

Shoot me now, McCree.

I'm on PC.

I have a pretty consistent 60fps, but it will regularly drop to 59.9fps in such a way that there is a frequent stutter to the feel of the game.

Is there any particular setting I should be tweaking to fix this? My GPU and CPU usage are both under 100%
