Symm is so much fun (on certain maps). I can feel my opponent melting IRL when I use her.

She relies a lot on map and character awareness, so a good Symm takes a lot of practice, but she needs very little aiming skill so she is a good pick up and play character when you're starting out.

Longest I wait on pc and console in the U.K. is a couple of minutes, it's usually seconds though, what region and mode is it?

I think it's only total players registered post launch. Blizzard reported 7m players one week after launch - which didn't include the 9.7m beta participants - so it's reasonable to think that it would reach this number 7-8 months later.

maybe low ranks, but in order to survive as lucio consistently, you do have to be able to ward off enemies and eliminate them on your own.

Get to level 25. Switch to competitive. Always play Widow or Torbjorn: especially on offense. The payload is dangerous so stay far away from it. It will mess up your k/d ratio.

That's actually insane and not surprising at the same time. The game is very fun and easy to get into.

Sadly the solo queue life full of raging monsters and poor players who refuse to communicate or listen deters me from playing the game. Still got my money worth though and enjoy coming back every now and again.

Why not try playing Mercy first? I rarely touch fps games but playing her first definitely helped me get comfortable with game before branching out to try other heroes.

I felt the same way for a little bit after I bought it!

...and then I did dive in! and played like 10 matches, and never picked it up again because yeah, I still suck at fps games

Me too. The hitboxes on consoles is super generous, everyone can pick an effective role. Playing with friends is fun.

Best multiplayer FPS I've played since MW1.
