Pacific Rim Game Trailer; Xbox 360 Exclusive

In my dreams this plays and controls like Robot Alchemic Drive. In reality it'll just be bad, which R.A.D probably also was, if I'm being honest.

If you think that the most creative representation of a remote controlled giant robot that can level city blocks with a swing of an arm is bad. Well sir, I will argue that you have no soul.

But I do agree that any proper Pacific Rim game would have to play like a reskinned R.A.D
or Gigantic Drive as the original title.

When the first trailer for the movie came out I thought that there was no reason why it couldn't be adapted into an awesome game. Had I known Yuke's was involved, I wouldn't have thought it.

Please... Bring on the next gen.

problem is with WB, next gen wont help us here, they didn't even have a game for Man of Steel(Very good movie by the way) The Dark Knight Rises got a shitty iOS game and now this, WB treat movie tie-in video games as a joke.

When I die, I'm going to ask the devil

"Why are most mech games shit?"

I will then be kicked out of hell, forever doomed to roll the earth.

Reminds me of..

I loved this game!

The collapsing buildings looked better in that game than in this trailer btw.

It's similar to their "Real Steel" game, which for some reason, seems to CONSTANTLY KEEP SELLING on PSN and XBLA, making frequent appearances in the top sales charts for the systems.

So minus all these "Looks So Bad!" comments, if it's similar to that game, it seems to be almost guaranteed to be successful with some odd, potentially dedicated fanbase.

This is probably only going to cost $10, and if it's lower in Microtransactons than Real Steel was, it could even be better as a game.

This trailer makes the game look turn-based though, which is pretty bad presentation. I guess that doesn't mean anything to the movie-tie-in-crazy people they're trying to appeal to, though...

Well, in comic cases, they have Infinite Crisis, Injustice, and Arkham, so they're doing good. We just need to wait until they do a comic based Superman game.

I feel really, really bad for the kid whose well-meaning parents buy this for him over Christmas simply because he liked the movie.

The looks horribad.
