It’s FIFA’s turn to shine as Microsoft’s ‘Halo 3’ loses some of its opening week glitz with a 79% drop in sales. EA’s ‘FIFA 08’ claims No1 in the All Formats Chart for week 40, completing a hat-trick of Week 40 No1s as it also topped the All Formats Chart for week 40 in both 2005 and 2006.

FIFA manages to hold on to the No1 spot in the PS2, PS3, PSP and Wii Charts with the PS2 version also overtaking ‘Halo 3’ as this week’s Individual Formats (Units) No1. THQ is the star Chart performer this week with ‘Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights’ the only Top 10 game to increase in sales, up 16% on last week, climbing 2 places to No3, while film tie-in ‘Ratatouille’ breaks into the Top 10 in its second week of release at No8. EA still have the biggest All Formats Top 10 presence with ‘MySims’ and ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08’ both only losing one place, down to Nos 4 and 5 respectively. The fourth installment of Ubisoft’s CSI games ‘CSI: Hard Evidence’ debuts at No24, boosted by the first CSI game to feature on Xbox 360, while 2 THQ games released last week make their first foray into the All Formats Top 40 – ‘Conan’ at No32 and ‘Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts’ at No34.

Yeah it only had two days to sell, but so do most major releases. At any rate, hopefully it climbs up. Europe never got FFT until now, so this should be selling better.

It's really disappointing. I bet Sony was counting on another millionseller like RFOM and Motor Storm, but it didn't happen. It didn't make the top 5 and sales have plummeted in 4 weeks. Too bad since it must have cost a lot to make and it got a really big marketing push.

Didn't know this chart included bundles. Isn't Motorstorm bundled too ? In that case, we can atleast compare (well guesstimate would be more exact) the relative performance of the 360 and the PS3.
