Partially anecdotal, but it looks to me like kids seemed to have been far less ready to abandon the Xbox brand for the PS4, possibly due to growing up with the 360 being the only core gaming brand they really knew, and partly due to lack of awareness of the details of the two current gen systems and wider industry trends (I'm shocked at how few of my early teen relatives and their friends know what VR even is).
So half term would mean more kids buying games, and a lot more of them will be XO owners.
