PC Drivers for Xbox One controller are out.

Another massive hint at HALO2 Anniversary.

WHERE IS THIS FROM THO

It's from Larry's official blog.

Beautiful. I just need a keyboard on my controller like I have for the 360 and it will make me so happy.

I'll wait a bit then, the one major thing that looks like it's worth the jump is the new d-pad.

The sticks are looser than the 360's (they feel like the sticks on the DS3) and the bumpers are worse than the 360's.

The trade-off just ain't there!

Great news, but my 360 pads are holding up well. Also using the XB1 pads at the kiosk the bumpers feel pretty bad, any users have opinions on them

C'mon Sony.

Sony probably won't release "official drivers" if it means using a hackish implementation of Microsoft's controller protocol and having mismatched button prompts in every game.

There wouldn't really be any benefit to it, since the fan solutions already do all that and more.

The dead zone is much smaller and the bumpers are only worse if you claw the controller.

Can someone actually confirm that the screen isn't from Halo 2 proper? I'd think that an upcoming release on the PC wouldn't have a "Live" option in the menu since it refers to GFWL and the service is on its deathbed.

So...what's better, xbone or 360 controller? Also, no wireless for the xbone controller as of yet, right?

Easily the Xbox One controller. The only major adjustment you'd need to make is if you press the bumpers on the 360 controller with the tips of your fingers. If you use the controller the way it was designed, it's perfect (fingers never leave the triggers and press the bumpers with the middle part of your trigger finger).

I was really sad when I tried out the xbone controller and didn't find it to be nearly as solid or comfortable as the 360's. I should really buy a spare or two of the wired 360 pads before they go out of production.

edit: from what people here are saying maybe I just need to spend more time with it.

Was there one day in the last ... 4 weeks? ... Where there wasn't a good MS news per day? Keep that momentum! :)

(still hoping for a wireless adapter tho)

But as others have said, how do you even legally get Halo 2 proper running on a Surface? I doubt Larry would be showing a pirated/cracked copy.
