It's not hypocrisy, it's an open double standard, because of two different situations. Many teens have sex with each other, that's nothing new and no party is more guilty than the other anyway. I mean, what do you want to do? Throw two 13-year-olds in jail for having sex?
But an adult, supposedly more mature and with more responsibilities, you're supposed to know better, as showcased by the many guys in this thread telling stories of resisting advances from minors (whether they're telling the truth is another matter...

). In that case, the adult can get in trouble. There again, there is a gray area with underaged girls dating 18-20-year-old guys, but many communities have a minimum age gap before they consider something as statutory rape.
