Hello.

He really needs to get his teeth cleaned up. Yikes

It's like they think that people outside of high school don't have a social life.
That premise made my hype sink like a rock.

What if Cooperation means that S.Links are a way for you to recruit different heist members to your side?

Or if there's a faction system the S.Links are a way for you to gain a faction's cooperation?

Hello.

Nekomata? why not Mara?

The only new information that I really find interesting is the characters living arrangements and the fact that not all dungeons will be randomly generated (if any).

Too bad they don't create a Persona game that takes place in college/university, with protagonists in their early/mid 20s.

Given the less super deformed art style, i though they were going for more grown up characters (like final year of highschool).

Because we still play as Teenagers? We are still in japan in this scenario and what we can say is that we can't equate their values with ours when it comes to school life. Everyone wanting deadbeat adults as their main protagonist, might have forgotten that we interact with adults plenty of times in social links that fit your description of the 'ideal'. But that wish is far removed from what Atlus is trying to do here. It's like nothing has a merit to you guys that isn't a copy of yourself. Then why aren't people setting their games on fire because this game isn't set in America?! If you want this sense of style with adults you could ask someone to give you anime recommendations that fit your taste better.

How the hell do you even jump at this conclusion? Just because the setting doesn't fit your tastes and they're sticking to their guns?

I take a guess and say that Persona 5 will follow a structure similar to Persona 3's: You're exploring a randomly generated dungeon for most of the month with one heist at the end or start of a month.

I like the sound of everything especially that it plays in Tokyo, and that not all Dungeons are random. This is a godsend to me.

Social Links are a Plus.

Care of http://www.siliconera.com/2015/02/09/persona-5-details-protagonist-setting-dungeons/

+ The protagonist is a second-year high school student (the new kid in town, may or may not be a thief)
+ Social links are in (in some form)
+ Not all dungeons are randomly generated (but some probably are)
+ Starts in Shibuya, set in other Tokyo locations as well (Almost certainly a beach at some point)
+ Problems will be solved (but some probably won't be ... at least without a guide)

Beach ? Kamakura please.

So they are changing the Social Links system?

Hmmm, I really hope so.

Depends.

What if you find out it is to a system that only works online, where you get points based on your friends "liking" whenever you purchase an accessory in a micro transaction?

Also this system doesn't work in Europe.

There is a lot of scope for what they could do. Will be very interesting to see which way they go.

If they are changing the Social Link system drastically one thing I'd like to see is the relationships with characters not being thrown into the trash once you reach rank 10. It would be nice if there was a worthwhile reason for hanging out with maxed out friends, like it buffs that arcana in the dungeon for a week or something.

I find it cool that the main character is a Phantom thief. Also ironic since Magic Kaito 1412 is currently airing. Inspiration?

But everyone wants their contemporary college life, in which they vomit most of the time from hangovers and party enough to forget their schedule. They obviously want the majority of the game to be just fucking around being the dumbest people on the planet, while also set in America. And what is stopping adults from appearing here again? Some person of the law will obviously try to catch these guys, it's like they never played the previous games before with adult figures on your side. Dojima was a great guy but making him a protagonist would be a hassle with his actual job being too important to go around like that, him being an assistant to the team was ideal.
The characters have the free time and have no restraints holding them back to do crazy vigilante shit. We can all speculate harder, but a lot of the time we just spew out whatever we want it to be without even considering what this setting can bring out, without seeing more than maybe 4 minutes of the game .

"The protagonist is a second-year high school student, who transfers to the city during the spring"

So original.

Anyway, the protagonist' first persona is Arsene, as in Arsene Lupin. Cool.

Will this persona's attack consist of shyte interviews and blaming the ref for giving away set pieces to Chelsea. lol

Sounds expected and awesome!

The non-random dungeons is probably what interests me most, also the fact it's actually set in Tokyo. I kind of expected it to be set in Not!Tokyo.

So it's set in Tokyo and it looks like you actually fight demons rather than just shadows?
