Edit: I got it, I separated "That Other Girl" with "Adieu Girl," when they're one in the same.

Of course not. How could you wife her during the game if that was the case? More likely they might have some hints to implied potential of pairings like Naoto and Kanji
Yeah, I didn't look at the trailer closely enough, though I'm also caught off-guard by how different her demeanor is when she's in Thief mode. I like that it's the case for the whole cast.

I do understand Japanese.
I just watched trailer 3 (I never saw it before), and it definitely seems to be Persona. I think a big thing here is now I'm in my 30's and don't find the story appealing or resonant in any way due to my age. I just don't connect to it anymore. Persona 2:EP came out when I was 15 and Persona 3 came out when I was 21 so I was a good age for them. It's probably because my tastes and myself have grown. But the third trailer is definitely Persona. I'm just at a point in my life where I don't find a story like that appealing anymore, I guess.
They said they're changing up the social links this time. What if you can't get into a romantic relationship with every girl in the game? What if you can't get into a romantic relationship with any of the girls in the game?

If you watched that trailer and still can't understand you should give up.
Yeah that's what i was thinking, mine is more wishful thinking that they drop the obligatory romance for at least one of the girls in favor of a more interesting group dynamic.
Also, since we're talking about relationships, it would be cool if this time you're actually committed to a girl and the rest of the cast acknowledges it.

Well, at first the returns of demons was a first hint, but later some characters (well, Anne and Yosuke) reminded me so much to past characters. Now it can be confirmed that some battle elements, like guns and the elemental attacks like nuclear or gravity, are back.
The settings, even to be on Tokyo, seems a bit eccentric, and the PS1's Persona games were very weird. The dungeons are a reflect from this, are (or kinda like) based on real places but with a twist on them, and it seems there are real people inside of them, so it's not a "secret" world only known to the party (and their enemies).
Now I know the name of the persona from megame girl and its appearance, I suspect something, but it can be only a selfish wish. Maybe it's nothing, but it's still an unprecedented on this series.

Obviously still want MC social links with people, but character linking with each other would be awesome and probably provide a new interesting dynamic to the situation may be weird to do considering you only follow the protag.

I see. There was speculation that they'd be tied to dungeons, though I always thought if that was the case they could at least be tied to the characters as well.
