I'm importing the CE for collector purposes. I have a ton of Persona related collectibles and it's a really cool edition. I understand a bit of Japanese, but for a text heavy game, probably not enough for Persona.

Like others have said, I do not trust Atlus' US arm to give us a CE as good as that.

You might be able to get a solid enough foundation in grammar, but you'd constantly need to look up terms in a dictionary, and would likely be screwed for the full-motion cinematics.
