It's okay Phil, I can't even keep up with everything I want to play as it is
I need to win the lottery & have more time.
Joking aside the worst part is, I feel like I've rushed through some games a little faster than I would haved liked in a bid to try keep up.
I have 23 sealed games sat on shelf (granted a lot of these I've played on game pass) I'm going to try priotise smaller/shorter titles and get round to stuff like persona 5 royal, star ocean later on (what both I'm really looking forward too)
I have sonic frontiers and evil west coming November too!
I wish these titles were spread out a bit more evenly throughout the year, as summer time was a dry spell for new titles that interested me, so I went back and played older titles like killer is dead etc
& Early 2023 is pretty silly too, one piece Odyssey, wild hearts, wo long, Hogwarts, redfall, like a dragon, resident evil 4, wanted dead, it's just never ending!
I do like Phil - think he's a top bloke, and good for the industry...
However, we've been hearing the same sh*t every year from him regarding lack of titles. They've spent billions on gaming studios, and yet have very little to show for it. Yes next year will be different (so he's said for the last number of years), and I'm sure when the fruits of all the buying come to fruition it will be. But... come on... change the record!
Unfortunately games don't just appear over night.
& Redfall & Starfield got delayed out of 2022.
Assuming already announced titles don't get delayed, first half of 2023 is looking very good on the first party front.
AOE2
Forza Motorsport
Redfall
Starfield
Tokyo Ghostwire
& We don't know what they have planned for the second half, according to a document from 2021 they had 9 first party titles planned for 2023 (obviously these titles could've been delayed too)
Game pass has done all the heavy lifting for Xbox series s/x so far though.
& All my fellow game pass buddies reading this go play psychonauts 2
