Ew that box will NOT look appealing while shipping MS deff rushed this console just based on the cardboard (way too leightweight, probably cause a RCOD). Sticker looks like Ariel is there anything MS WON"T ruin with their own shitty standards? Probably sidewise because of the weight of the external powerbrick and needs its own pallet. Just one box? Probably entire EU shipment.

Tough to say when Sony started manufacturing boxed units since 'production' means so many different things. In the past, companies have announced they're 'in production' when they've just been making components.

I wish "how its made" would do a special episode with the making of both PS4 and Xbox One.

Not How Its Made nor a game console but since the process is the same here you go:

There are gonna be shortages all up in this bitch. I can't believe they haven't been able to start production until now.
You're probably just trolling but:

  1. There are always shortages at console launches. The only question is how serious they are.
  2. Production on the 360 started later than this, and they had some serious production problems.
  3. No such issues seem to be affecting XB1 production. (No serious issues, I mean. There are always bubbles in the pipeline to one degree or another.)
So yeah, unless the XB1 is a complete sales disaster, there will be shortages. In other news, the sun is expected to rise in the morning....

How could MS manufacture four palettes with xbox one's if there were yield issues? HOW? You can't explain that...

They cant. The boxes must be empty and this is all a lie. We will see when it launches and they only have 100k for all 13 countries.

Man I can't believe they're barely getting these made. There's gonna be lots o' shortages this fall.

Assembly is different than components. Both sides have had the components settled for awhile and have been getting them staged. This is just the final assembly which is how every electronics manufacturer does it.

Interested to see when PS4 hits the line. They have been manufacturing parts for awhile, but nothing on it actually being put together.

Would have loved to have seen the first Xbox being built on the production line and THEN boxed.

What a wasted opportunity.

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
I'm not even getting any consoles at launch but this is damn exciting, having flashbacks to the pictures of the 360 on the assembly line.
