Every now and again something hilarious and original occurs in these threads. GAF then proceeds to run the joke into the ground. Here is an incomplete list of such occurrences:

- Do not quote long images, or multiple images, without removing the IMG tags.
- Avoid reposts. At least skim through the current and previous page.
- If you're going to complain about unfunny images, please post examples of funny images.

- Pics that make you laugh for apparent reasons. Died at post #6665. Cause of death: reposting the same pictures over and over again (namely the Korean murder comic).

- Completley false. PS3 has tons of good games. Mass Effect 2, BulletStorm, Killzone 3, Heavy rain, and a few others I can't think of. Serious response to "PS3 has no games."
- Alt accounts. Timber replies to his own post. Everyone is suspected to be his actual alt account.
- Korean comics. The first posted one is here. Caused the death of the pics that make you laugh for apparent reasons thread, due to continuous reposting.
- C:\Users\Name\funnyimage.gif. Oh, I forgot the img tags.
. - Pretty sure it's Myst. (Referencing this image.) Everyone wants to answer weekend_warrior's question. Suddenly Myst is the answer to everything.
- "Not funny, X died after that." The smallest mishaps are actually fatal. One of the oldest memes, originating on the first page of Pics that make you laugh for no apparent reason. Although the original was a legitimate post (although false), it slowly spiraled into meme status, starting here and here.
