Guy plays the DR character perfectly,love it! Loved seeing him run over 4 people in one game....

Sometimes I wonder,How does he get so lucky.If that was me they would've lit my vehicle up and killed me,lol

Wow, this game is so much better when you're playing with others. Second time playing with a friend, we placed #7 in duos. I'm not gonna even bother with solo anymore.
 
I just tried rando squads again for the first time in a while and I'll say this: the round where nobody talked and we died after dropping in Pochinki was the least disastrous or brain cell killing.

I didn't even realize you could que with random players. I turned off the mic in the game the moment someone started blaring All Star on the island before the match started.

You should turn it back on for the match (there's a hotkey to do it on the fly). The game uses positional voice chat, and it will help you find players who are talking on the battlefield. It's also fun to hear players beg when they know they're trapped.
 
Gave in and bought the game after seeing all my friends seemed to have fun on it. I must say it's pretty cool, my first battle royale type game but good god am I having a hard time with the movements.

I saw there's a patch supposed to come out to help with animations of climbing and such, do we have any ETA on that ?

I only ever play with friends in discord at the same time, but I might take up your suggestion. I had no idea the game had positional audio.
 
No more random squads for me, that toxicity rises as more players pour in. I've played the last 2 weeks and have been intentionally tked regularly over the last 2 days.

Just finished my first game, played solo and finished #10. I killed one guy and was on foot the whole time lol. I think the playzone got me, I was busy looting his body, haha.

edit: Played with a random squad, made it to top 10 but got wrecked inside a house.
 
Doc should have just taken the few day ban instead of this ban evasion stuff. Especially with the name he chose to poke fun at PlayerUnknown. It's only a few days and doing this is just risky, who knows if PU overreacts and just permabans him.

Oh that's what's going on? I don't foresee ban evasion going well.

I have a nuanced opinion of this. I think Doc is a dick, but I also think PU overreacted to his silly roundhouse kick tweet which I can't imagine anyone taking seriously. Knowing he's in-character (and PU did know this), I'd be more likely to take it as friendly than hostile if it were directed at me.

Does it work in solo? I've never heard anyone use it.

I'm pretty sure he maybe meant 30... thousand? Even then, it doesn't matter how many he has. Be a prick? Break the rules? Get banned. There should be no favorites being played here. The "Doc" needs PUBG more than PUBG needs him.

Man I'm starting to get really frustrated with the insane lag I get when opening and closing the inventory sometimes.

Anyone have any fixes? I've tried messing with all graphics settings but nothing fixes it :(

Be careful. If you don't get the inside joke that will invalidate your opinion in their eyes.

I swear though. They think people are morons who don't get the joke. We fucking get it. I've watched at least 20 hours of his streams. There are clearly lines when you are playing a character though. Especially in your responses to the criticism. Do you ignore it, use your real life persona to apologize? Or do you double down and encourage the idiots in your community? There are donations the doc won't read. He obviously has some sort of line. Where he chooses to go over is very telling. If you think all of his responses have been in character you are real gullible. It's a really poor character if it just sounds like some modern gamer dude a little annoyed with triggering people who is happy to read safe space jokes after the fact. I don't think that fits the character of the Doc at all and yet somehow there it is.
 
Problem with Doc is that his character becomes unlikable once you realize his attitude is that of a petty loser, not a champion. I liked Doc until I realized that he's not really that different than the whiners who only blame lag/the game whenever he loses. It's a little sad.
 
The problem with playing a character is that people can use it as an excuse for anything he says so arguing is pointless. He teamkilled someone, was being dumb on twitter and his stream about it, was he in character? Who the fuck knows.

I still watch him from time to time, but I've definitely switched over to TSM_Viss and joshOG for laid-back, chill and friendly streams. They don't usually lock-out non-subs from chatting either.

I think the only PUBG streamer I can't stand is summit1G, such an arrogant wanker.
 
I swear to god the hip aiming (Or whatever it's called when you just hold down to aim instead of iron sights) reticle is a massive lie. I feel like I shoot into my cover 99% of the time.

Hip firing is nothing, over the shoulder is holding right click, aim down sights is right click tap.
 
Im am in the worst slump right now. Still top 1000 but i cant get kills at all. Thank odin for teammates and top 10s.

Anyone got any ideas for getting over potato flu?
