Sadly I can't even do that, that thing need to sit at the end of my TV where my PS4 Pro resides
My only problem is... Which side.
PS4 change things by having the disc drive on the left
 
It's still not growing on me.
I appreciate that they tried something different but I still think it's ugly and too large.
Please release a smaller black version asap.
 
I don't like the styling or the overall look of the thing. It will look out of place in most set ups. Still buying it though. I think it could also be used as a potential weapon in a home defence scenario.
 
I still don't see any "PS5" logos on the case.
It really looks as if Sony has opted not to mark the console with its PSxx abbreviation for the first time in PlayStation's history. I wonder why they did that.

It's gotta be somewhere, remember it has Sony embossed in it but it's hard to see due to being white
 
Its so ugly in color and form that its an actual fucking problem.

Who looks at big cheap piece of plastic and says "stunning, gorgeous"? Your either a juvenile or a grown up who never owned a premium or design product in your life.

at least make it black!!!

Yeah, the Sony logo is definitely there and obviously there's the PS family logo, but I've yet to see the actual PS5 on the console. It just seems strange to omit it.
 
I don't LOVE the design, but it's not like I loved the PS4's design either. If it's a quiet cool reliable box, I'm fine, it looks ok enough and I'll largely forget ever caring what it looked like.

prepare your will and get your affairs in order. I have to prepare a coffin for my ps4. a beer has been poured in order to dull the pain. I regret nothing as regret has no ability to console me. this is the worst thing that has ever happened and I'm simultaneously incredibly excited and fearful of what is to come o_o
 
They've managed to design something more ugly than the boomerang looking PS3 controller that was instantly canned after most people burst out laughing at it.

Imagine the reaction if MS had a bunch of Japanese shills "test" their console in a controlled environment where you can't even put your hands on the thing.
 
Like with porn, it's worse when you see more detail... Nah, it's alright but I do hate the white. When I pick one up down the road it's gotta be all black.

A controlled environment under stage lights in a 30 degree room running an actual next gen game at 4K 60fps with RT effects rather than last gen titles

I'd not complain if they did that, pretty good stress test if you ask me. And they did touch it, some confirmed it felt warm at the back but was silent.

How tiring.

Glossy makes it look more premium but we all know that Sony uses shit quality plastic in both consoles and controllers.

What next gen game? RDR2 is more "next gen" than anything that was shown here.

Godfall is next gen exclusive, and RDR2 is /literally/ running the last gen version, despite your subjective opinion on next gen-iness. 4K 60 with RT effects isn't a light game, and everything home testers have been able to run on the other front is 8th gen or earlier games in BC.

Oooh... that gloss plastic is a little over the top. (The renders didn't show that much gloss) - but it's always good to see the actual photo.
Wonder what it would look if it was some sort of brushed black metal or gunmetal type..? Sure it would have drive the production cost and weight quite a bit...

Maybe the fuck difference is that his current set-up is all black equipment so this sticks out like a sore thumb. That ok with you? Some of you need to stop kneeling in front of Jim Ryan and accept not everybody worships Sony
 
lots hands on sure but they all show same thing basicly and noone is allowed to show anything more so its no use anyway
 
The inner part should've been also matte black like the stand and the DS, so everything would match perfectly.

I know I'm an Xbox fan, but the only issue I have with the console is the design. I think it's a nice console internally, and what they did with the IO is amazing, but that design...
 
ps5 looks good , its silent at least for now on those tests so thats great, i hate my loud ass ps4 pro in my room. something as silent as gaming laptop would be nice .
 
I liked it when they first revealed it and well, then we seen more of it with objects for scale and in differing lighting and now not so much. In fact not at all. I want to rip the flaps off it and lay it on it's side loving held up by my favourite furniture but I now know this isn't possible and I'm rather disappointed.
