I'm a bit disappointed that HK doesn't seem to have a true 1:1 mode to simulate a billiard cue. It just exchanges the analog stick controls with Move input.

you would definitely need a pool cue add on in order to be able to handle a 1:1 pool game, and even then, you'd have to try to keep your hand steady in mid air for every shot without being able to brace it against anything

Thanks TTP, your videos have been very informative. Oh and they have have cost me £87.55, so errrr thanks! :lol
I have been wondering if I should buy or not (My cat can best show my thoughts) and finally I caved in yesterday.

I purchased Eyepet for my Niece as well, no really... my Niece.

Since day 1 is rapidly approaching, what are people planning to get?

I'm still undecided...

2 move controllers, 1 nav controller, Sports Champions.

might get Tumble. Hopefully they release demos of some of these games this week.

2 Moves 1 navi and 1 navi later if I chose to buy one for quest/friends.

Sports Champions, I just like how you can play it like a video game and then you also use real world tactics to play the games, thus going from casual to hardcore.

Beat Sketchers, I just love the non-game game of this, kind of reminds me of Flow at the launch of the PS3.

Tumble, I just like the game, I hope like hell it has custom or xmb music, it is a must for this game.

I have my eyes on several PSN games

October NBA 2K, The Fight Lights out, John Daly ProStroke Golf.

I was at Gamestop 2 days ago to see if they had a Move demo on display, they didn't, but I did have an interesting conversation with the guy working there. It went something like this:

Me: Hey do you guys have a Move display

Clerk: Nah not yet dude

Me: When are you going to get one?

Clerk: I think next week, IT LOOKS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: Yeah it looks pretty cool

Clerk: DUDE DUDE DUDE!!!!! Did you hear NBA 2K uses the Move, SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: Yeah I can't wait to play it...chill out.

That guy was mega hyped for some Move NBA 2K :lol
He also said the most preordered game was Eye pet.

so far:

1 x Move controller

1 x RE5 Gold Move Edition (also a copy for my buddy so we can play in coop)

1 x waiting for Heavy Rain patch for another complete (evil) playthrough (also, may get platinum trophy)

1 x waiting for the EyePet patch to play around with it some more

1 x playing some MAG (second beta/full game/new&future addons) with Move.

1 x waiting for Hustle Kings patch to play some matches

1 x waiting for Flower patch to replay it

1 x waiting for PAIN patch to mess with it a bit

1 x waiting for High Velocity Bowling patch IF it's free...

1 x playing whatever demos available for Move games (there are demos for Ruse, Beat Sketcher, echochrome ii, EyePet, Kung Fu Rider, Sports Champions, Start the Party!, The Shoot, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Tumble, TV Superstars).
Though apparently they won't upload (all) of the demos or only at a later date (I have hopes for the PAL stores though, they said they would upload all of the demo-disc's demos at launch)

Not too bad for a total of ca. £43 shipped. :lol

That should do for the firsts months and then I can buy echochrome ii and Time Crisis (also LBP2 for the bonus levels or whatever it is). Then Dead Space 2 (hopefully, but at least DS:E supports it) and KZ3.

A second Move controller at a later point. Maybe also one of the guns and clips for the PSEye.

Fixed your post, so it would fit my plan.

I swapped my RE5 for the Gold edition. I also picked up MAG 2 weeks ago, and I have a navi, extra Move and the Sports Champions bundled on preorder. I have a few of the PSN games that are getting patches also....and I'm holding out hope that Demon's Souls gets a patch....I would love to play that with Move controls.

From the PSN EU blog:

"And on 22nd September the Move Edition patch will be released and it will automatically download to your PS3 when you boot up Heavy Rain. So if you already have a copy of Heavy Rain, you can download this FREE patch and play the game with the new PlayStation Move controls."

Metacritic update since last time; Sports Champion changes from 74 to 75, Start the Party from 55 to 56, Kung Fu Rider from 37 to 39, Flight Control HD gets its first review (a 70).

Whoa. Just went from a 'maybe' to day 1 :D

I have the Move Controller/Eyetoy pack, a Navigation Controller and Sports Champions preordered.

Speaking of which, just checked my emails and GAME are processing the Move/Eyetoy pack which means it may ship tomorrow. Any other UKers in the same boat?

I played the RUSE-demo with Move just now. It feels very awkward at first, but you quickly get into it. The second time through you don't even think of the controller, it comes very natural.

Love the orb!

I had hoed most patches would be up this week, ready for move launch. Do we have ETAs for the other patches? Mainly wanting eyepet and RE5, but hustle kings and flower would be bonuses

I'm still undecided...

1 x Move controller

1 x NavCon

1 x RE5: Gold edition (still debating with myself over this one as i have the regular edition).

1 x waiting for Heavy Rain patch

1 x waiting for EyePet patch

1 x messing around with the MAG beta

1 x waiting for the PAIN patch to have a mess with

1 x waiting for the flower patch

1 x Tumble

1 x messing around with the Ruse demo and whatever else is released on the store this week in terms of Move featuring demos.

Actually, that is a far bit of stuff...Haha.

That kinda sucks, was hoping the patch would be out this week so i could mess around with it :( Will have to wait until next week then. Still, already have a fair bit to do with it :)

I don't see the point of using that site.
It should give a roughly accurate average once a larger number of reviews are in, I dare say there are some games that polarise opinions heavily though that break the score (They'll just show an average score when it's more likely you'll either love or hate the game).

I have 1 Move and a Nav (Already have the PSEye). Managed to order RE5:Gold for £9.99 (Although it looks like they might have trouble finding stock now) and I already have Eyepet so I'm looking forward to seeing how different that is.

From PSN I'm probably going to pick up Tumble. I'd have picked up Start The Party as well, if it was a more reasonably priced PSN game. :(

Will pick up Heavy Rain further down the line.

Oh, I'm interested but 5am is a bit too early. I'll probably watch it later in work :D

I'm going to set my alarm, even though I won't understand a word of it. If there is a presentation, hopefully the liveblogs will keep me informed.

To get a large number of diverse opinions in one place and to try to leverage crowd wisdom.

I heard that 5 of the multiplayer games in Tumble require two Move controllers. Does anyone know which ones those are?

1X Sports Bundle

1 x Move controller

1 x NavCon

1 x RE5 Gold Move Edition (maybe, the IGN Move impressions worry me)

1 x waiting for Heavy Rain patch for another playthrough( I switched PS3s so I'll be starting from scratch.)

1 x waiting for Flower patch to replay it

1 x waiting for High Velocity Bowling patch

1 x Tumble

1X Flight Control

NBA2K11 (if it's good, too bad the demo isn't Move enabled)... R.U.S.E. maybe down the line, not paying full price for an RTS.

2 x Move Controller
1 x Navi
1 x Sport Champions

Tumble/Ruse also.

leaning towards start the party for a family mini game

getting the shoot and time crisis when released. Dead Space 2 when released (am praying for DS2 to have move support)

RE5 and Mag are pending reviews and how it shapes up

seems as though amazon are out of their delivery day shipment, i couldnt imaging this being sold out anywhere else, is there that high of demand? I'm pissed i'm going to have to pay taxes that day to get it

Yeah... the high standard deviation makes it kinda useless in this case.

You never look at the numbers by themselves. Check the deviation of the scores, and then check the high scores, the low scores, and a couple in the middle. From there, you can figure out whether or not to purchase the game.

Because of that Kmart deal, I'm going to hold off on getting a Navigation Controller until the 26th and I'd like to (but doubt I'll be able to) hold off on getting a second Move as well.

So, for sure, on Day One I'll be picking up the Starter Pack with Sports Champions. I might grab another retail game as well, though there's nothing I really feel is a must own. I'll also be picking up Tumble from the Playstation Store and I already own Hustle Kings, Pain, Heavy Rain, High Velocity Bowling and MAG. I know not all will be patched right away, but I'm sure some of them will be.

Better deal on the bundle... anyone want a really cheap pseye?

never used the deals from kmart, if i buy 3 things on that list i get 3 different coupons? Can you stack the gamer coupons on your next purchase?

So I sent off an email to the developers of Flight Control HD asking for any additional details they could give about why the game isn't getting a North American release. They responded, but were unable to elaborate on why they are not releasing the game here, other than to say that they'd love to release the game here, but they do not expect it to happen.

Do any Euros want to trade a European PSN card for an American PSN card? I really want to play Flight Control HD.

People say Move is sold out in Germany already, so whatever, I will give it a shot...

My plan:

2 Move controllers
Sports Champions
Start The Party

Probably Tumble too.

Because I love stacking stuff.
