When is Flight Control coming out in the US? Did someone here say never? ;_;
Never unfortunately. It's great too which makes this a shame.

I played Sports Champs and The Shoot so far. The Shoot is a lot better than I expected, probably going to buy the full version along with the gun controller thing. I couldn't get the "turn on the spot" thing to work though.

Sports Champions I played table tennis, which is fucking great. I play the Wii version with my daughters and this is much better and more accurate. I only played a few games, but it's great. Archery is really good too, though I played after I did the entire bronze rank of gladiators and my arms were tired :lol Gladiators is way more fun than I thought it would be, and I was looking most forward to that one. I'm playing with 2 moves, so the shield play is probably a bit better than with just one. I think there is enough with just the Move/SC bundle to justify the $99, my son is gonna love it and my wife will most likely play a bit too, which is great because she doesn't game at all.

I'm off to try RE5 now, been looking forward to it since they announced the patch, hope it doesn't disappoint.

Let us know how RE5 is please! And enjoy.

So it's selling well?? (or they didn't get a lot in...)

A legitimate question. I don't know the exact answer, but when I told him I wanted it, he said, "Aww man, you're taking my last one," and then proceeded to have a conversation with me about how people get mad when they don't have stock and it wasn't pre-ordered.

I assumed the demand was at least decent since he knew he was going to have to start turning people away.

Think so. The two shop owners in Germany I asked, told me it's selling rather fine.

Man...i really wish there was online play in SC, seems like a missed opportunity.
*cough* Table Tennis */cough*

Would've been so great!

I just called my local TRU and they said they don't do the "$20 off if you buy $50 or more in accessories" (I think that is what you guys were talking about). What gives? Also, why is buying two motion controllers (or even one) + Sports Champions cheaper if you already have a Eye (I do) when both the accessory and the game are $50 each anyway? Thanks for the replies.

any RE5 impressions yet? I'm considering picking up Move and I want a good game to go along with it

They're difficult to get hang of (atleast they were for me) but the use of Move is really solid. The cursor is really responsive and the waggle knifing works very well.

Here in Italy the Mediaworld in my city had about 200 units on launch day (15th Sept), I thought that Sony was able to make them overstock :lol but today there were only about 15 units left, so I guess it's selling quite well or at least definetly more than I was expecting to.

A question: I picked up Eyepet put plan to level it unopened until I hear further input. Does this have much depth to it or is it a fairly small number of mini-games and that's about it (aside from dressing the guy up in different outfits which doesn't overly excite me...).

Think Nintendogs

I played 15 minutes of it or so, online co-op. I am using the DS3 since I didn't get the nav controller. It takes a little getting used to, but the shooting is more accurate than with just the DS3, but the movement is different in that you can't control the camera by itself. You can center the camera with a button press though. I got used to it in a few minutes, and honestly I'm going to pick up a nav controller this weekend just for this game because I really dig the Move control with it. One thing to note is that you don't calibrate the controller for this game. Every time you pull the T button the cursor centers to the Move ball. It's actually nice this way because you don't have to hold the Move out until you go to shoot. I give it a thumbs up.

huh there is a time crisis demo, didnt think there was...
Huh? In which store?

The RE5 Gold impression sound very promising, but I don't want to buy it after finishing the normal version 5-6 times. Maybe a rent is the right choice. Ah btw Capcom, not patching the first version is rather cheap!

The Shoot really shows how accurate this thing is.

I can't help but feel a bit silly when I do 360 degree spins to slow time down. :lol

I honestly don't know what's going on here. Either a colossal blunder or people are buying it up, or Sony is pulling a Nintendo and limiting supply, or maybe my area is just out of whack....

I went to both Walmart and Kmart and neither of them have any of the Move Controllers. They had the PS3 320GB Bundle, Charging Stations, Navigations Controllers (all in pretty limited quanitites) but no Move controllers?!

Pretty big problem there :lol

Okay I'm not terribly impressed by how it's working with my setup.

I put the camera on top of my 46" Samsung, with the cord holding it up there and slightly pointing down to the seating area and set it to the blue setting as it says to.

First thing I noticed is that in tumble it asks you to point at the camera to calibrate and I'm having a really hard time figuring out how it wants me to point at it because the pointer never seems to be where I expect it to be, like I have to point on top of my TV to get it to show up. Kind of like when you have the wii sensor bar placed in a bad spot.

Also one one of my controllers it seems to be accepting the calibration fine, but on another one it keeps telling me some BS about either too bright of lighting or too much movement over and over again even though I was holding it pretty steady.

I'm going to have to fuck around with this more but I was hoping it would be a pull it out slap the camera on the TV and it would just work. Any suggestions about what it actually wants when it says to point at the camera?

Okay, just ordered it. Looking forward to tomorrow now. Downloading Heavy Rain Move Edition Demo, got Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, going to grab Flight Control and play around with all these demos on the disc and downloading. I have faith in you Sony!

Buy this

Wait till Oct 21 when it comes out in Japan. Stupid move by SCEA :/
I dont wanna have to jump through hoops to get it. I don't even know how to make a foreign PSN account and all that jazz. Would I have to sign into that just to play Flight Control? :/

Why did SCEA pass on one of the best games ever?

I'll just forget about it now and hope it turns up in the future. I do already have it on iPod, iPad, and DSiWare...

Seems to be the only thing in really short supply in Germany too.

I kinda think you're doing it wrong. The point of calibration is to fix the pointer being off...

That means, you shouldn't be adjusting so that you can see the pointer when you calibrate, you should just hold it naturally where you FEEL it should be in the center, then hit the button.

Just picked up my Move bundle! Squishy ball feels good man

Never?! Noooooooo!! That was like one of the games I bought Move for! >_<
Can't you just set up a UK PSN account, add money via a pre-paid card, and get it that way?

You can't see a pointer during calibration, I'm talking about the pointer in the menus after you do the calibration. If I point (or what I feel like is pointing) at the camera, it's definitely not centered. Perhaps I'll go about it a different way and ignore what it's telling me about pointing it at the camera and point at the center of my screen instead.

(I tried pointing it loosely from the hip at the camera, and also pointing it holding my arm straight out so the camera is pointing right in my line of sight to the camera but no dice to get the pointer where I would expect properly either way)

Just got the one Move controller for now as i'm on holiday next week, just playing the demo's and so far The Shoot is my favorite game and my partners favorite as well, didn't really pay much attention to it before, but it is really good. It feels like an actual arcade game and the graphics are alright as well.

Picked up the SC bundle and an extra Move controller at lunch. Opened one of the Moves and squeezed and sniffed the ball. I really need to make sure to put these controllers somewhere my 2 year old son can't reach because I can just see him ripping these balls off. Anyone know if you can safely remove and replace a ball?

Yeah. There are web sites that will sell you a code from a UK PSN card.

They're non-replaceable as far as I know.

Go into the Accessory settings on the XMB and into the Camera settings and look at what the camera sees. Maybe you need to adjust it a litle bit?

More impressions would be nice since mine didnt get here in time and ill have to wait for Monday(Fucking Greek post office..).

Has anyone tried table tennis on hard yet?
