Picked up the SC bundle and an extra Move controller at lunch. Opened one of the Moves and squeezed and sniffed the ball. I really need to make sure to put these controllers somewhere my 2 year old son can't reach because I can just see him ripping these balls off. Anyone know if you can safely remove and replace a ball?
You can remove the ball and put it back on again. At least TTP did it in one of his videos if I remember correctly. iwaggle.blogspot.com

Did you see the movie Balls of Fury? You need to be AT LEAST that good.

has anyone tried the Sports Champions demo on Euro PSN? is the ping pong limited?

honestly, that is the only thing I wanted in Sports Champions. If it is mostly the full ping pong game, I'll just pick up a move controller alone.

also, any impressions of the navigation controller? I can't think of any game this year that will really use it.

Jeez. It's hard enough on normal. It's totally unforgiving if your used to Wii tennis.

Sports Champions can be brutally unforgiving. :lol
Last person in the bronze cup for table tennis is a notch harder than the others. I lost about 3 times to him because of hitting too hard. >:(

What do you mean by limited.

God, I give up for now. I can't get it to track the ball right at all. I tried different camera positions, verified that the view is fine. Calibration in Tumble keeps telling me that tracking will be poor due to bright lighting. My pointer is now slowly sliding off to the side all by itself.

It's not THAT bright in here. I have all of the white curtains closed, but the living room in my condo has 10 foot floor to ceiling wall to wall windows and I can't do anything about the sun that lights up the room. It's not even all that sunny today.

So I don't know what to do, I guess I can only play move games that track the ball during stormy weather or at night. In terms of being flexible and just working the Wii wins this round.

haha he beat me first match then i cleaned up the last two games. He doesnt like power shots, i found it cool how you could figure out a players weakness like the last girl before the end match hates spin.:D

Dammit, went to Gamestop after they said they had it and since I already had the camera I was going to get 2 moves and sports champs. They were out of the moves and only had the bundle with sports and the eye. He said that he could knock off 10 bucks for the camera if I sell that back. Hmm. More searching continues.

I'm actually glad to hear this. I enjoyed the Wii Sports collection, but some more depth would not have hurt it (for some at least).

Amazon has delivered again!!!! Got my starter bundle + Start the party sitting at my office when I got in :D :D ... need to pick up my pre-order of extra controller from GS which I got in for trade-in ... 10 more hours before I can try ... :D

Gladiator duel is definitely the most physical of the SC games followed by table tennis.

I'm not liking archery though with two Moves. The front Move isn't aiming properly for me, but I guess that's down to how low my PSEYE (knee height) is compared to most displays.

I dont wanna have to jump through hoops to get it. I don't even know how to make a foreign PSN account and all that jazz. Would I have to sign into that just to play Flight Control? :/

Why did SCEA pass on one of the best games ever?

I'll just forget about it now and hope it turns up in the future. I do already have it on iPod, iPad, and DSiWare...

You can play it like it belongs to any account on the same system. Just a matter of if you want to pay 16 bucks for it by buying the JPN card.

Yeah I had the exact same problem with archery and using two Moves with the cam sitting about knee height. Hoping the TV clip for the camera will sort that when it eventually arrives from Play.

More RE5 impressions. I'm used to it now, especially the lack of the right stick for camera control. You can pretty much align the camera by tapping X to sprint, and the aiming is far more precise for me with Move than with the DS3. I threw the DS3 controls back on and it almost feels awkward now, aside from being able to turn completely with it. I honestly don't think I'll go back to the normal controls again for this game, and I'm really excited about trying KZ3 and MAG with it. I was going to try Tumble and the other demo games to post impressions, but I'm on a RE kick right now :D

early impressions seem to be that Table Tennis is the Wii Sports Bowling of the Sports Champions package....followed by....Gladiator?
Sounds about right. The Gladiator game is fucking fun! I was sweating (in a Metallica T-shirt :lol) around the 7th battle, and that's only the bronze tier.

Damn Capcom.......they have fucked all the people with the original edition of the game...sigh.

Btw anyone knows the release date for Echocrome 2? Try the demo guys,I've been really impressed, it will be my second Move game.
And although there are no kids in my family anymore I can tell you that everyone is in love with Eye Pet Move :lol

Hmmm, i have my 50" sitting somewhat low - so i'm looking just below the center of the tv when seated on the couch. I was going to put the camera below the tv with the wii bar, but hearing this it may work better on top since it would be about knee level when i'm standing if mounted below.

Tried the ruse demo with the navigation controller. I think the sun must have went behind some clouds because Ruse is controlling much better than Tumble did.

Still going to take some getting used to this, I'm finding that since it's closer to having a mouse it's making me wish I could just use even the cheapest mouse even more.

I was on the fence but for £39.70 for the starter pack with a cash trade in value of £33 i changed my mind.

And i just got back with my second one after marching into town to exchange the faulty one.:D

Watch this one not work and i have to throw my PS3 out the window.

Could it possibly be that the PSEye is in it's zoomed position? (by twisting the part around the lens)

I could see how that could really mess up the tracking, but I would think some part of the calibration would mention checking that.

Sorry I'm just blind-guessing on how the calib works... can't wait 'til I can say for sure... think i'm gonna skip out on work early.

I would try it and see how it works for you. I could only get back about 8ft from the cam and couldn't get the aiming to go high enough so it may well be a combination of cam height and standing distance??

Edit: Just looked at the distance I was standing and it's probably closer to 6 1/2 - 7ft distance

Shit I should go wash my Master of Puppets shirt before my Moves get here :lol

playing the shoot demo on the disc, is there supposed to be an aiming reticle? if so how the feck do i get it to appear?

There were some complaints earlier in the thread about how sometimes the reticule shows, sometimes it doesn't... It seems to be a bug and I don't remember anyone finding a resolution other than... either keep recalibrating or restarting the demo.

yeah, there is a demo for sports champions on the euro playstation network

I didn't get a reticle either the first time I started that demo. The second time it worked fine - I may have accidentally clicked through the calibration bit the first time. So I would suggest to try it again.

Great table tennis impressions , cant fucking wait. And how did the Gladiator game went from being a joke from most people that played it a few months ago to one of the top games in Sports Champions. Great response to feedback i guess.

Nope it's on blue. I think it's just cocked up because of my huge windows and light curtains. The fact that I have my seating close to the TV (in accordance with optimum viewing distances for HD viewing) probably doesn't help.

Picked up two controllers and sports championships, RE5 gold nowheres to be found in my area, need to wait for my store to ship more.

how does Tiger Woods 2011 play with move? It is compatible right?
There is a demo for it on the Move demo disk. I haven't tried it out yet though. Which reminds me, I need to get the Planet Minigolf patch!

I'm playing EyePet Move Edition:

I know it sounds stupid but I wonder if putting a pair of sunglasses in front of the eye would help.
I've had the same issues as well and I live in Scotland FFS!
