Indeed. I was nit-picking and got some things wrong, but I still don't see how it isn't a valid comparison. The level of accuracy between the games was clear.

Sports Champion didn't give me any trouble, but I felt like it wasn't any better than Wii Sports Resort. I'm not saying my word is gospel, but it is my opinion.
I still want Flight Control to come here. :[
So you still prefer the iPhone version over the PSN version?Jax said:this I gotta try.

FLIGHT CONTROL HD IMPRESSIONS
so just bought this and played 2 levels. I loved the iphone version - thought the Ipad version was a bit to big (in terms of its map) and diluted the gameplay. This is essentially the iphone version played with waggle.
Visuals are the same but 1080p and looks simple and sharp. Gameplay, the lines drawn hooked into the landing spots much much more easily and its the same old FC game. you click circle and it doubles the speed.
This is very sit down and playish. Controls really really well.
BUG COMMENT pretty sure its a bug and it annoyed me a bit. The music would stop playing after awhile and not kick back in. Then you're left playing the game with no tunes.

CrushDance said:Alright I got my Move today...I'm really having a hard time enjoying this. I downloaded EyePet, Racquet Sports and the Tumble demo off PSN(That's it). All the games felt way to damn stiff and in eyepet when I tried to reach the outer edges of the screen, I had to contort myself awakwardly to reach it. Not to mention that all the demos were Wii like garbage and the one game that was "hardcore" and I had been looking forward to was RE5<----This thing was utter garbage. You use the Move to aim, shoot, reload etc and it's kind of nice but again feels stiff. But you have to use your dualshock(I didn't buy the Nav) to move and it's just a mess to use ergonomically. Maybe if RE5 allowed you to move while shooting it'd make sense?
I dunno, feels like a waste of $50 right now. I'm sorely disappointed by RE5 especially because I thought that would be the saving grace, I guess these patch jobs aren't going to cut it because they weren't designed around the controller. Honestly I switched back to the Dualshock right away and was shooting up zombays, swiftly and more importantly...enjoying it.
I'll wait for Killzone 3 atleast and then try again. But right now I'm not seeing where these claims of "better than the wiimote" and "quick" are coming from. I actually prefer the Wiimotes jitteriness compared to this.
The controller itself feels good though and is very nice to hold. However button placement is off and it makes it slightly confusing initially to press what you want. They should have made it easier to transiton from Dualshock to Move. Lights are cool and my younger brother loved it but got frustrated with eyepet since it asks you to use the move and your hands on and off way too much.
The only game that anyone liked was racquet sports and even then while it looked great. it didn't play any differently from Wii sports/tennis.
I really don't give a damn about uprezzed Wii games and party games. When I went to the store all I saw was Start the party, Eyepet and SportsChampions(bundle). Is that what Sony calls a launch lineup? There is nothing here for those of us who like the Uncharted's, Killzone's and the like. I really expected more from this...Sorcery should have been a launch title to balance things out.
All in all I'm not sure who Sony is trying to market this to. The PS base is built on heart pumping action games and in that sense it does not deliver at all. No parent will look at a Wii and Move RIGHT NOW and say "Lets get the PS3". Down the road? Maybe when some dad goes to pick up a system and sees Start the party along with Killzone 3 he'll go for the PS3 intead. But right now, there is absolutely no way any parent or casual will go for the PS3.
6/10. good hardware, terrible software. Seems SCE didn't learn the lesson yet that compelling software moves hardware.
If anyone can send me any recommendations for demos, software that I haven't tried yet and or explain why the controller movements feel so stiff. Please let me know.

well it's pretty much outlined in the OP, but your link is a little more in-depth, thanksPatriotsbball5460 said:I'll be honest, the thread is too long for my too go back and check to see if this has been posted before, but Amazon has a really useful compatibility chart for all the games that use Move, it is worth a look: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.ht...d_t=101&pf_rd_p=1275616742&pf_rd_i=2310631011

I think the lighting has a huge impact on the camera, the quality looked much better when the sun was out for me.gluv65 said:PS eye is such a shit camera for taking pictures for the victory poses, or is it my lighting?
I love the Gladiator Duel Augmented reality picture of you with a shield and weapon. Beat Sketchers in the demo takes a pic of what you drew and sends it to the photo section.

It's ok. I am not easily fooled into hype so I sort of came into it with no real positive or negative spin and just wanted to see what is offered as I love tech and love games.
What is offered is ok both hardware and software. Its not special at all except for its higher sensitivity and the games do indeed need to bake far longer. And you can indeed run into camera issues which we found out during the day but died out as it got darker. I was surprised how easily the camera messed up with the normal room lighting. But I admit it was pretty bright and we had to close the shades and get it a bit dim.
Games-
Table tennis is fun but nothing I didn't experience on the Wii aside from the improved sensitivity which made the shots easier and that was cool. Had the same calibration errors others posted which was sad because it seems pretty widespread so you would have assumed they would have figured that out.
Gladiator was ok. Sort of well really boring but a good idea for a real game.
Archery and disk golf were both really lackluster and left us wonder why they were even there. It was like a warning of what games should NOT have.
Golf didn't do anything for me. It was the same game I had played tons of other times and the motion sensing didn't offer something that Wii didn't offer. It's just golf and it plays fine.
It was a Goldilocks night. The friend who got it, did not like it at all. I thought it was ok, his daughter loved archery but hated everything else.
Interesting but I will most definitely wait to see if they fix the glitches people are having, the light issues, and bring out some actual games worth buying and extra item just to play.
So we came up with Hardware 6
Games 4
I will pass for now.
