PlayStation Network down?

I have internet connectivity on my PS5, but can't access anything on the PS Store, cloud saves, etc. Web browser works fine.

???

Anyone else with similar issues?

Working here… at least I tuned it on and messages, notifications and the store is working just fine.

I did not try to play online matches but GTS opened in online mode without the message I'm offline.

Alright, thanks, not just me then. Will just play some offline game, let's hope it's not another big hack! Remember that one? Was fun.

Edit: Maybe it's down in some regions only?

Revolutionary Revolutionary ethomaz ethomaz Where are you guys? Sweden here.

Playstation.com is down for me, Northwest US.

When the PS4 first came out, I hated that it was down like 1-2 days weekly for a good while.

Made more tests and some services started to not work… weird it was 10 minutes or so after you guys started to report.

Must be a regional failure. I'm in Europe.

Wtf, Plague Tale isn't loading either. I get to the start menu in the game, but then it just loads forever. Is that game somehow dependent on PSN even though it's an offline SP game?!

It's a PS Plus game.

Try playing something you actually own.

The game starts, I get to the main menu. But then (after "Press X") it refuses to actually load. I don't think the game checks for a valid PS+ subscription in-game?

No idea when the validation actually kicks in but I know it does exist for any games you have that are tied to your plus subscription to stop you disconnecting the console from the Internet and continuing to play them after your sub has lapsed.

Try a single player game you own that doesn't have any known always online DRM.

Wreckfest works fine, that's also PS+.
