Sackboy Spoilers (Just in case :P)

He comes out of a LBP Goal, complete with the sound. He's also the cutest thing ever.

Oh my word, I got a birdie and he flew away on a jetpac. Then he just ran off screen, and then jumped up with his entire face covering my TV to smile. I love Sackboy

I love these EG characters, wish there were more

This is a Square Enix USA/EU thing. They don't even acknowledge that there IS a PSN version.

The Japanese version appears to be fully in English. If anyone wants it that badly they can get a PSN ticket from NCSX.

ncsx was lying to its customers, telling them that sony no longer sells jpsn tickets.

EDIT: It appears they are now available? The thing is that Sony never suspended them.

What the heck!

So you know when your caddy is giving you advice on putting, well

My caddy just picked Sackboy up like he was a baby. Cuteness OVERLOAD

Really? Wow that's pretty bad, since JP PSN Tickets are like in almost if not every convenience store there and the Cards are available at places that sell games. =S

They do that with Toro also iirc.

It still has the message even though they've become available again.

Update: December 17, 2008
Note: Sony has temporarily suspended sales of the JPY3000 Tickets and they are not available from our suppliers in Japan. We will update once they are available again

They were marked unavailable from December until yesterday. Guess they were only selling to those who knew what was going on, but that's bad business.

Wheelman is actually more fun than I would have expected it to be but it seems to be really unpolished.
Thats exactly what i was thinking, very fun game. Now all i need to do is convince someone i know to buy it so i can borrow it :D

Can someone confirm?

Guy on my other forum has 67% complete on Dead Space trophies.
It goes by value of the trophies, not count.

He made the UK PSN card and it says he has 90% of Dead Space trophies. I believe has has 44/50 which is about that.

So, does the US go by value, and EU by count? And Japan?

I can confirm this!
I have 69% complete in Deadspace (UK game played on a US PS3 on a German account - kind of funny, now that I'm typing this), that's what it's showing in XMB and on the US Playstation site - and it's showing 94% complete on the European Playstation page.

Mind blown!

Hehe, I wonder why it's different?

so I finally got to play some of the crystal defenders demo, and I have to say that I enjoyed it for what its worth, considering its a port of a phone game, but I do appreciate the music and the FFTA aesthetic. I hope they release this in the US store D:

More Sackboy stuff!

He sometimes rolls up a gigantic golf ball with the LBP logo, and sites on it. I just unlocked Mexican Sackboy.

You have to get this, have one less coffee this week and spend the $1 or however much.

It's been confirmed for the store, but not this week.

:(

id buy the sackboy, if my plastic sealed asian version disc wasnt borked, took it out before xmas, played a few days, then when i got up to the spanish chick it freezes sometimes or loads extremely long when loading after a match. so i gave up on hsg :(

other games have NO problem whatsoever.

For anyone without a quick converter, that's more expensive than Warhawk or Burnout Paradise.

It's a remake of Spelunker. Do they not want anyone to buy the game?

US store updated, red baron arcade, astro tripper and buzz junior are the new games.

edit: i should also mention red baron and riddick and wheelman have demos

Does it come with trophies? From 0 to 10 how awesome is spelunker?

Hopefully they'll do the ol' 'very expensive in JPN store, cheap in USA store' like with The Last Guy. (and echochrome and piyotama too?)

What's the deal with this Buzz game?

How can you put a standalone game on the Playstation Store, then require that you have buzzers which are sold separately? This is not like the camera. Your existing controllers should map to it.
