The RR7 BGM was under the game add-on section and were new tracks.

For PJM and SCIV, this is separate on the XMB. Why would you pay to have the game soundtrack to be accessible in-game? o.O
It's SCAMCO; it's not the Game OST, it's the tracks of the original game for the new game. From the blog post:

Soul Calibur IV: Downloadable Music (x17 individual tracks @ $0.99 each, full set @ $14.99)
The ultimate music pack with all the stage music from the original SOULCALIBUR (1999). This set contains all the separate music files available by purchasing Music Set 1-17. Go to the OPTION menu and select STAGE MUSIC SETTINGS to play the music once purchased. Refunds cannot be offered for any individual music set already purchased prior to the ultimate music pack download.
File sizes: 5.58 MB - 8.97 MB (tracks), 75.1 MB (full set)
They did the same thing for RR7 and RR6 IIRC, remastered music from the old games for the new game.

Madden this year is leaps and bounds better looking than last season's effort, it really is breath taking; makes the decision to go with that ridiculous looking light show for the IQ even more baffling.

The pass blocking is still pretty iffy on some plays with tackles and Guards just standing there while a Line Backer run right by.

EA also continues to not allow you to edit the controls, which is fine for the demo, but retarded if it's not allowed in the final game like NCAA.

Also: EDEN IS GOD LIKE!!!!

madden 09 demo didn't convince me to buy the game. i have 08 and despite it being a clunky piece of shit i just can't see myself buying a sports game every single year anymore. it does look and run smoother though but i think unless a sports title absolutely rules in 09' that i will hold off and buy nhl/madden/fifa every 2 or 3 years from now on,

The new animation system in Madden is great, I've seen some awesome looking stuff. Looks like I'll be getting the 360 version though, PS3 version is finally up to par, but still doesn't look as good :[

Just buy them every other year, that's what I do

I'm having a hard time with the passing. Nice to see the PS3 version is now identical to the 360, I couldn't tell any difference.

The Madden demo was awesome, gonna download the 360 demo tomorrow to see if there is anything different but I'm def buying the PS3 version :D. Just wish I got my normal 8min demo instead of 2 >_<.

Facebreaker is pretty bad....Its just a bunch of button mashing in reality. Man why don't they do a new Ready to Rumble or something. Now that was a fun game...

anyways...I uploaded a boxer for facebreaker....take a look.

edit:Umm...i guess its not terrible...if it was like 19.99 downloaded i think it would be worth it.

haha..just beat the cutsom kim kardashian on medium in 4 sec with a face breaker...

the trick is to spam the dash punch..just keep dashing and punching fast as you can.

I thought the demo for Madden was great. Unfortunately I still suck at football games. I don't think there's much that'll change that. I keep trying, because I used to love them, but my brain can't seem watch the quarterback and keep my eye on when a receiver is open. Plus on defense I just have no clue what I'm doing. I have no idea what buttons to press. I scored a zero on both of the skill scenarios for tackling and was almost into the top category for passing, even though when I played the giants patriots scenario I could only complete about every 3rd pass. It seemed really f'n hard to me.

I can say this though, Madden finally looks great on PS3. I'll be downloading the 360 version to compare tomorrow.

I feel the same, some sports games have just got too complicated.

some slowdowns but that's how it is after each time they pull up a menu. but during gametime it was smooth. at least smooth enough for me to not go barf compared to 08 :lol

I haven't played the PS3 demo but NCAA 09 PS3 demo was like this too. Gameplay smooth, but slowdown during the menus. The full version rectified this issue and the game runs as smooth on ps3 as it does on 360. Hopefully the final version of Madden 09 ps3 is the same.

Wow, EA really picked up the slack.

Exclusive "feature" to the demo most likely.

Are they shareable? If I could use it in game + get the mp3s that would be fine with me but the fact that I can only use in game I think the price is more than I'd want to pay...

I imagine so. AFAIK, the only stuff you can't share the "normal" way is Wowhawk and GT5P. Speaking about Wowhawk and GT5P, when did they change the DRM restrictions? I looked at Warhawk today and they removed 24 hour PSN User ID lock, the only restriction in place now is that you must have the owners PSN password saved in the PS3 running the game.

And Singstar. Tied to the HARD DRIVE.

Minor Japanese store update today:

Add-ons:

Initial D Extreme Stage - My Character parts (male) - 320 yen
Initial D Extreme Stage - My Character parts (female) - 320 yen

Lego Indy is good harmless fun. Probably not worthy of a purchase though.

Madden I'll skip. Bought 08 and it will be he last time I ever buy a gridiron game. Do Americans even call it gridiron?

Facebreaker should be called Button Masher.

Eden....... I don't know if I should buy the full game. Going to give the demo another go but I didn't really like it first time round.

BTW soes anybody know if Ratchet QFB will be released on PAL PSN on the 21st August??

Awesome. Thanks mate.

Is it sad that I'm super excited for a trophy patch just so I have an excuse to play through Uncharted again. Im not even a trophy whore, I'm just a sucker for old Nate.

How does the Home invite on the Jap store work, i downloaded it and it installed but nothing else came up in any of the menus?

It's just a theme - but if you download it between now and August 11th you'll be entered into a random draw for invites to the closed beta, and then if you're accepted the Home frontend should appear for you on the JP storefront.

what the hell is life with playstation anyway? is it just another name for home or something? or is it the wii news/weather thing?

I'm the last guy to be into any of these lego games but lego indy was surprisingly my favourite demo of yesterdays update. Kinda makes me want to see what lego batman will be like. I've just always seen these as childrens games and never paid any attention to them at all.

facebreaker was not good at all.

Compared to the Lego Star Wars game, the Lego Indy demo was not that great at all. The most I'd pay is $30.

The Star Wars game is so much better.

Rumor is that we will soon see multiple account logons from the same machine. So they cant lock you out if you have your friend log in with you.
