Playstation Store 10/02/08

I want the Linger in the Shadows *game*..... but I live in the U.S.

I have a UK account, but do I have to set up a credit card thing..... or should I look for a PSN card....if that even works....

it hits the US store today as well.

It does even detect rotation around the Y axis! Not leaning. You keep the controller horizontal. I've never seen something like this. It's magic.

I think echochrome did that too, not sure.

stuburns said:
Yeah that blew me away as well, I had no idea the Sixaxis even did that. When I started rotating that floating tree/plateau I was stunned. And it's only 100mb? How is that? When the BioShock demo is bordering on 2gb?
It's because demosceners are magicians (also see: SSDHD). There's no better explanation if you ask me.

Lol, why should I pay for those ugly themes when we get free themes like these.

How do you break up your categories?

Press Square. Oh you mean by folder, hit Triangle on any file and change the information line to whatever you want to name your folder. Rinse, repeat.

gogogow said:
hit triangle on a demo, PSN game etc. and go to information, there you can make your own categories. Type in whatever you like.
No I know that. I was wondering how YOU specifically labeled your categories.

This is how I do categories.

-Demos
-Old Favorites (games which are either from other platforms ported to the PSN, or are HD remixes of classic games)
-PSN Originals (games developed specifically for the PSN)
-PSX Games A-M
-PSX Games N-Z
-Software Attractions (non-games like PS Eye software)

I use Games, Demos, Eye Games and Other (the MGS database , Mainichi Isso and Betas).

That said, the Euro Wipeout theme is better, except for the clock showing only halfway on the white... And when will we be able to customize the PSN icon, it really bothers me that its non customizable so far, it sticks out like a sore thumb in many themes.

I don't have as many PSN games as you do so I went with:

Demos
Betas
PSN Games

PSN Games
1. Full Games [Burnout, Warhawk, LBP Beta]
2. PSN Games [Almost everything else]
3. PSN Demos
4. Kids Games [Super Rub a Dub, Locoroco Coccoreccho]

Numbering them at the start keeps them in the order you want.

I have the exact same simple structure (but with swedish wording instead :p). Works like a charm.

Added some more stuff...

lol, my bad, I think I'm drunk.

PSN Full Games
PSN Trial (including betas)
PSN Various (MGS database)
PSone Games
PSN Temp (PSP demos, PS3 demos which I'll probably delete very soon)

They should it make it free.

BTW anyone know what Icognito is working on right now? It's been a year since Warhawk released.

The game for free? What about all the other games releases last year... or the year before?

new updates I hope...

You know, making the base game free wouldn't be a bad idea at some point, just charge for the update packs.

Wait, what does the demo have? Computer controlled bots? Actual online play? Weird.

So no Soldner? :(

The release list I've seen had Soldner and Red Baron for this week also, but it looks like things got switched up. We'll see. There's way too many things grouped in one week anyway.

Goldrusher said:
That's a PS3 game actually.

lol, I think you are right. So the PSP version last week, and the actual PS3 version this week?

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords™
Building upon the addictive and easy-to-learn gameplay of a puzzle game by integrating story and character progression elements found in RPGs, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords delivers a brand new type of game that pushes the puzzle genre to a previously unseen level. The PSN version of the game also includes the content from the ‘Wrath of the Plague Lord’ expansion pack.

The wallet system is strange.

So i have to add a certain amount of money to my wallet first? I cant just buy a game and that amount gets charged to me? :(

-PSN
-PSN demos
-PS3 demos
-PSX
PS Eye (all the eye related games)
Software (mgs database, home, eyecreate)

I believe that's how I have it. Something like that anyway.
I use the dashes to get them in that order, though it's smarter to use numbers.
