Agreed for sure. Trophies would be nice. I got all of the 360 achievements in a heartbeat, but they were fun to get. As long as the game has the 60 second time attack mode, I will be hooked.

What is your record on 60? Man that thing gives me thumb pain after an hour or so.

I'd have bought Sim City 2000 if it was £3.49. For twice the price I could get a copy of it on PSone disc and still have change for a mars bar.

The price of Sim City 2000 on the EU store has to be an error, seeing as historically the price for PSOne classics was £3.49 and they recently increased that to £3.99.

never SC 2000 to appear on the classics, still own my copy.

On the PSP version I think my best was 112. I could never break 100 on the 360 version, but I can't remember what my best score was.

Yep same here. I think I was somewhere in the mid-90s. I'm sure with continued play I could keep on bumping that up steadily but I didn't play too much after I hit 90+ a few times to take tops on my leaderboard because my favorite is just chilling out to a long challenge mode session.

I used to always set targets for myself, and I would gradually get better, but I think I peaked out with both versions. It will be fun to have an excuse to dive back into it. I remember seeing a video replay of the guy with the top score in the 60 second attack mode on XBLA and it blew my mind. I can't remember what his score was, but it was in the 150 range. My mind and thumbs just can't work that fast.

I believe it's publishers who get to set the prices of items on PSN, so obviously EA thinks it's worth that much.

Oh right, I assumed it was just a standard pricing structure. That probably explains it then.

FYI the Bioshock patch apparently resolves framerate issues and the "fuzziness" in addition to the Big Daddy textures.

UPDATE IS UP!

Wow. Sony Monkey is on the job.

There is a direct correlation to when this thread is put up and when the content is put up. Can we have a rule that from now on, it can only be put up after 12 PM EST so it comes at 5 PM EST?

Did SCEA totally abandon releasing PS1 games? There's at least a dozen or more that I'd buy for the PSP. Which I haven't bought yet because I am waiting for more PS1 games to come out.

Do you hear me Sony? Release PS1 games and I'll buy a PSP. Just waiting...

Silly me, I thought Sony would throw something up on the PSP store today.

But seriously, why Sony. Why.

I posted in PSN Content threads way too much about it, but Shuhei Yoshida himself admitted they haven't done enough with third parties with PS1 games. And what leads to lack of motivation bringing them has to do with the difficulty in licensing them (such as certain people you need to contact about licensing not returning phone calls, publishers no longer existing, multiple people from all over involved, and so on) and there just isn't much profit margin in them (compared to releasing new PSN games). What I can say is, just don't expect them for NA.

My opinion on PS1 downloads is that while I was initially excited, I've regretted every PS1 purchase I made, even to games I use to really love in the past. And when going back through many old PS1 demos I have, next to none of the games still hold up well, so it's not like many would be satisfied if they bought either. Now I just rather have new games be made like PJM and so on.

Anyway, downloading Moto GP 08. Glad to see Linger in Shadows music (so great). :D

er? It's just readjusting for the exchange rate.

$20 = 13.58 pounds.

$20 = 16 euro.

you guys don't think companies don't readjust the exchange rate the other way will you?

I wouldn't be surprised if Canada gets a price raise too since

$1 = $1.3 Canadian dollar. That translate to $20 USD = $26 Canadian dollars.

For Australian dollars, it's $20 USD = $32.74 Australian dollar.

I guess he must be too busy canceling games to do anything about it.

PS1 games are one of the main reasons I want to buy a PSP, they won't hold up well on a 1080p HD TV, but on the little screen, they'd be great.

But it's wrong to readjust the price of somethings thats ALREADY REALEASED. I agree with new games but come on Sony this is just harsh. Why are they suddenly so quick to change the price because of the exchange rate on online but when it comes to actual physical games and consoles it means jack shit. (Like how Sony fucked us over with launch of PS3)

Why is the Capcom Store back to being Staff Picks again?

To Many Add-Ons the Sequel!

Are any of those musics worth getting?

Where is the search bar icon that the video store has? It was showed in an image of the game store back when they were promoting the upcoming Capcom store?

How comes they can't get their own stuff out? There were like 5 PS1 Twisted Metals yet they only got one of 'em on the store right now.... and it came out there over a year ago! SCEA has alot of their own game series up but they are way incomplete.

why would it be wrong? If you bought it before, then you got it for a discount. If you buy it now well, that's what happens to exchange rate.

That's what happen whne you move to a digital medium. It makes it easier for companies to readjust.

They can't do the same for physical
