Prediction time! I am thinking April for $300 (headset without camera or Move controller). I'm a naturally optimistic person.
Uh you don't need headphones for PSVR, also what headphones are you including for $90? Sony sells an awesome pair of headphones for $20 and the camera is only $60...I know headphones are needed for psvr and vive, but aren't they included with OR?
If so, I would think psvr would have to come in at 299 or 349. Camera and headphones would add 150 to your start up cost. Couple move controllers would be another 50. We would be looking at 499 to 549 for the lessor of the big three.
If anything but really they don't need to.PSVR will likely have cheap wired earphones packed.
As a gear vr owner... It has already changed mine

Betting release is 1st week of June worldwide.
$499 min, and be prepared for same games with better performance on PC of course.
Yup, you need binaural for immersion.Virtualized audio is crucial for VR, it's not just about video.
Is this an event inside of GDC or is this an event outside of GDC for Press?

The real question: would $299 deflat the other VR competition?
Before summer? No. After then I think that's likely but everyone is prepared for a slow gradual climb. The real question: would $299 deflat the other VR competition?

But they dont know the price of PSVR, so how is it plotted?
It was made in September (when people assumed $349-399 for Oculus Rift) so needs an update but should give you a ballpark comparison from those really in the know. But they dont know the price of PSVR, so how is it plotted?

Two days after Oculus' "Rift Launch Preview" presentation. Hmm...
One would hope and expect.Price and release date time.
I would think if they had 299 in mind already and saw the rift and vice prices they'd double down on their price. So much positive press for low price could go a long way.Do you think they've had the price nailed down for a while, or do you think they might be making adjustments after the announcements of both the Rift and Vive prices?
I know they said they would be selling it at a loss to push the unit out better, but is there a chance they saw the competition and maybe decided to raise the price a bit since it will still be the cheapest option, say from $299 to $349-399?
