so many analysts were predicting a labour swing in case of a high youth turnout. maybe this may be a trigger
We can't deny the role the internet plays in terrorism. But just straight op monitoring and building in back doors everywhere is not a very good solution. They'll have end to end encryption anyway on private apps if they want.
The thing that needs to be looked at is how major internet companies like Google and Facebook can prevent the spreading of terrorist sympathizers and messages on their platforms.
She's had a massive boner for porn removal since forever.I mean...i kind of understood the purpose of it all until porn entered the picture, and now i'm just..what?why?...how...why?
If you take away porn, wouldn't people be angrier than before?
Serious question. :lol

A friend of one of the attackers warned authorities of him becoming radicalised. Just like Manchester...lack of people is a bigger issue than meaningless internet surveillance. Terrorists will find new means to communicate while the rest of us lose more and more of our rights and privacy.Has there been any news on how these attacks were performed. Any reasons to suspect the internet was the cause, and that surveillance would have actually stopped it?
People will have to go back to underwear catalogues and the power of imagination.
If it was me in power, censoring my enemies would seem wise. Only difference is that my enemies would be real fascists, the types who ask to bring back the gas chambers in YouTube comments. Also censoring climate change deniers would seem like a good idea too, that type of misinformation is a global security risk. Don't know how far the slippery slope would take me though. Anybody who had wrong ideas about economics or domestic policy might be seen as a threat to progress
