Obviously unencrypted Whatsapp, iMessage and whatnot will not stop the big terrorism, but those tools are plenty good enablers for casual terrorism. It's a game of numbers ultimately.

The base that votes people like this in probably don't even use the internet really. If my parents are anything to go by, they use it merely to stream content once in awhile, ask Alexa some random shit, and enjoy the shit that make their iPhones work

Like the London attack thread was sprinkled with people demanding more be done than say 'we cannot let this break us'.
