I want to see how gimped the actual in game storage is. If I can just transfer stuff right away free of charge and never have to use it again I'd do that. If it's only $5 I guess it isn't so bad. I have no way of getting things from Gen 3/4 onto a cart from 5 though so I'm sorta locked out though. My Fire Red and Heart Gold stuff is stuck on Gen 4 which sucks.

Also I have more than a few pokemon that I fooled around with the GTS to get. I bred the contraband pokemon with Ditto and made a legit one on my game. Hopefully that isn't a problem.

But the Pokémon Bank stuff sounds great. Too bad that you can't transfer Pokemon from the DS games back to the DS games after using Poké Transporter.

Note that Poké Transporter cannot return Pokémon to Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, or Pokémon White Version 2 after they have been stored in an online Box.

That's how transferring forward always worked since Gen IV.

Last WiFi tourney they disqualified 1155 Masters for hacks. I wouldn't be surprised if they stole *that* algorithm because it clearly blows the hell out of the algorithm GF currently uses.
