This game has been pretty fascinating to see spread.
I spent a lot of Saturday playing it, and went to various places like Ikebukuro, Harajuku, Yoyogi Park. Everywhere you go, you spot people playing it, and you can overhear people talking about it all the time, too.
Lots of people were carrying battery chargers, which is a pretty good idea. I couldn't find mine, and my phone was dead by the afternoon. Fortunately my friends wanted to go do karaoke, so I stole one of the power plug sockets there, and I could resume playing afterwards, heh (sad, I know).
I spent most of the day catching Pokemon and swiping at stops, and left dealing with grinding up Pokemon for candy and levelling up until I'd got home, as I thought that was a better use of my battery while I was out.
My phone was dead by the time I went to Yoyogi Park, which was a shame, but it was at least interesting to see just how many people had gathered around the entrance, standing silently with their phones in hand, haha! My phone was also dead on the train home, but I saw a girl catch a Clefairy, which made me jealous!
