I got a female Eevee right off the bat, first try. Super happy about that as looking it up on IGN it seems there's only an 11.9%, but that's going from previous games gender ratios, I guess. No idea if it applies here.Yeah, looks cute and it made it easy to name (Kokoro). Just remember the gender's decided in the opening, when Eevee first pops up on screen.
I can't be the only one who thinks that the colours are way too bright for eyes, can I?
So Sabrina’s gym is gated off at first. The requirement being you need a level 45 mon to enter it. Though datamine shows the highest level out of sabrina’s mon is level 44, with most of them being 43.
So you have to OVER LEVEL Sabrina to enter her gym.
Like wtf
Yeah, second try worked for me. I'd be surprised if it used the same gender ratio as wild Eevee; it'd probably be 50% for the starters.I got a female Eevee right off the bat, first try. Do you have to catch the same monsters over and over in order to grind? So I've been playing it since release...
Really enjoying it, even the "go" mechanics aren't bad in it either.
The docked mode catching mechanic seems really broken at the moment and they need to add pro controller support so you can play it like handheld mode.
It uses the catching of Pokemon to gain experience, so if you feel like your under powered, it's because your not catching enough Pokemon!
Also, loving the "take out of pokeball" option on all the pokemon too, having a pikachu follow you then having a magikarp following you makes it funny at times.
If you enjoyed the original games, blue or red or yellow, give it a go to say the least you may find yourself enjoying it and getting lost in the nostalgia of the game, remembering all the secrets and even new ones.
It's deffinately better than my expectations anyway!
You can fight other trainers to get XP as well. It's very like in the main games but instead of "killing the same monsters over and over" you capture them because that's the core mechanic against wild pokemon.Do you have to catch the same monsters over and over in order to grind?
But what if there are no trainers left and I just wanna grind in the wild? Do I have to capture the same pokemons over and over? Is that a thing in the game? You can fight other trainers to get XP as well. from what I remember you can keep beating the elite 4 over and over again to gain exp.But what if there are no trainers left and I just wanna grind in the wild? Do I have to capture the same pokemons over and over? Is that a thing in the game?
Yes, it's exactly like in red and blue, but instead of having to defeat the pokemon you capture it.But what if there are no trainers left and I just wanna grind in the wild? Do I have to capture the same pokemons over and over? Is that a thing in the game?
I found the gym that asks for lvl 45 to enter. It is the Saffron City gym, the 4th gym. Clearly a bug. I was 7 levels below that with my highest pokemon when i got to that. Meh.
