Really love this team. They did good for me. Sadly, most will probably go for better versions once I get the Friend Safari dudes necessary to get good pokemon with IVs. Still, these guys rocked.

At some point do certain wild Pokemon just stop showing up? It happened with Nidorino and it's happening again with Honedge. Haven't seen one in about 25 encounters.

I've always thought BW to be good. For Pokemon standards, its definitely a good story. Its at least okay for video games in general.

B2W2 was a Gold/Silver story type, where it was more about cleaning up from the first game.

Ok so I got a Scizor in a trade earlier here and I like pretty much everything about it except it doesn't have Technician. Is it absolutely important if I want it to be really good or are there other ways to have it useful ? IVs : 27-29 HP, 20-21 Atk, 31 Def, 28-29 Sp.Atk, 0-2 Sp.Def, 25 Spd. Adamant Nature.

Give them vitamins(iron, protein), but it'll affect your EVs

The characters in BW were interesting enough to sell the plot, I thought. The plot in BW2 sucked though, new characters were boring as shit and they barely did anything to/for the returning characters except N. Really unmemorable.

What I like so far about X/Y is that it actually feels like all these distinct new friends are mine are journeying with me--because they are physically taking their first steps along with me. Still moving at a snail's pace (had to babysit) so I'm only at Santalune City, but it was cool seeing them do their thing in the forest while I was doing my own thing. In just this short amount of time they already feel more "real" than every other rival that just disappears until it's convenient for plot or a "pop quiz" battle. Hopefully they keep it up throughout; not to say I hope they're always with me, because I'm sure they'd outstay their welcome eventually, but I like the bigger focus on camaraderie.
